I have an self-cleaning automatic litterbox that goes off 10 mins. after my cat uses it. So everyone has to run out the room until the 10 mins. past. What can I do?

Try using a higher quality food. Dry food that has yogurt in it helps with the smell. We use Purina One hairball formula, and we use Friskies wet food. I think when we used Fancy Feast the poop smell wasn't as bad, but they didn't like it as much.
Also, do you feed the same food every day or do you have different flavors? Try and see which ones make the poop smell the worst and stop buying those. :)
Good luck!

Heh, not much. Cat poop and pee are two of the most horrible smells in the world, and I've yet to come across something that helps. The one thing that helps the most it seems, is Febreeze air freshener, since it claims to kill odor causing bacteria in the air.
