Cats, because I'm much more of a cat person. I like the cat's independance of spirit and also the fact that a cat is more self-reliant than a dog.
Cats are every bit as affectionate as dogs, but in a different way.
BTW, I've had dogs as pets, though currently, we only have cats. Our last dog bonded with our cats and considered them her "pack." When she died, the cats missed her very much, as they liked her, as well, and roamed through the house trying to find her.

I love all animals and have horses, barn cat and a dog but the dog is my favorite between the cat and dog that is..

Love cats!! You should see my screensaver it's awesome. Dogs are cute too, but you have to handle the "poop" left all around. Cats look for one place. I hate slobbing dogs ..agggg!

I like cats because you never know what they are going to do next, also the make you feel love when they purr. I also like dogs because they love you no matter what, and they are always happy to see you when you get home!

Cats defenitly. My cat is sooo samrt. if he wants to be petted he bites me spftly on the hand or arm. or if he wants to get out of my room in the middle of the night, he bites me face (not that best tly!feeling in the world!) But I have to say cats defeniy

I choose to have cats for pets because they are mostly quiet, not barking, they don't tear up my garden, they purr and like to sit on my lap. They are pretty and loving and good company.
