there just aren't any at dealerships and hyundai doesn't accept special orders.

Sounds like they are not interested in selling you a car. Go to a different dealership.

You can ask for quotes in yahoo autos, telling them you want manual transmisiion, or you can look in www.autotrader.com ot www.cars.com for dealers that offer manual transmission.
I prefer manual transmission cars and they are usually hard to find sometimes. Keep looking in the web,

most people today want automatics. you can get a manual, but will probably have to order it.
