"The unborn baby is not really human until it is born."

Answer: First of all, if it is not human before it is born, then what is it? It is not a mineral or a vegetable. It is not an animal such as a dog or a monkey. In fact, it is not an animal at all; it is a human being. Cows give birth to cows; horses give birth to horses. No medical person has any difficulty identifying an unborn dog as a dog, or an unborn pig as a pig. Why should there be any question about an unborn human?

Does this statement mean they are human only when they change their location and move outside the womb? Since when does where one lives determine one's humanity? The difference between babies that are born and those that are unborn is not their essential nature; it is simply a matter of size and location. Accidental or circumstantial characteristics such as size or place cannot determine whether or not a being is human.

Human beings are animals dumbass.

And Im sorry, but no-one in the medical community refers to a dog, monkey, or horse embryo as a dog, monkey or horse. They say embryo for a god damn reason. Its not a dog, monkey, or horse yet. It will be if it keeps growing, but when its an embryo, its nothing else. Same goes for humans as far as Im concerned.

Like many people you cant seem to be able to tell the difference between a late-term abortion in which an actual human being is killed, and an early abortion in which the beginnings of an embryo are removed. No one is talking about late term abortions being legalized. No one at all.

Oh, and by the way, if youre so intent on protecting those defenceless babies, let me ask you: How many kids have you adopted and taken out of the hellish lives they could have avoided if they had been aborted? If the number is any less than one, I strongly suggest you shut the hell up. If we could guarantee a good life for every unborn fetus, I would be against abortion also, but we cant, and Im not.

It is legally a human at 24 weeks (6 months) of gestation. That is the youngest it is possible (though the odds aren't good) for it to survive outside of the womb. Anything younger, then it is considered part of the woman's body.

An abortion can not be performed past 12 weeks (3 months) of gestation.

You can not tell another what to do with their body - no matter if you agree or not. I don't necessarily agree with piercing certain parts of the human anatomy, but that doesn't give me the right to tell someone else they can't do it because I don't agree with it. I just don't do it, and I don't support it.

P.S. Humans, if you check, are animals. So that argument is moot.

What a loaded question? If you already view people who are pro-choice (mind you choice, not pro-abortion), as muderers, are you really open a constructive dialogue? I think not....

You know if you really actually wanted to have an intelligent discussion, you'd post this where people actually WANT to discuss this.
