I would be willing to guess that the reason non-Catholics answer questions is because they don't feel that the answers people like yourself provide give the whole context of truth.
As a non-denominational Christian I believe that there is one church that consists of the spiritual body of Christ and that there are members of this church who worship and serve under the banner of Catholicism. But when you say that "we" do not worship Mary or make similar statements you are merely writing about official church positions that may or may not be accurate in their description of individual believers.
Certainly the Catholic church has a long history of putting the doctrines of men above the divine revelation of Scripture. One of the most glaring examples is it's prohibition of marriage for Priests. In this regard they demonstrate many parallels with the Pharisees of Jesus' day laying grievous burdens upon men that God had not placed there.
1 Corinthians 7:2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.
1 Timothy 3:2 It is necessary, therefore, for a bishop to be irreproachable, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, well-behaved, hospitable, skillful at teaching;
1 Timothy 3:12 Let deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children well, and their own houses.
Matthew 15:1 Then the scribes and Pharisees who were from Jerusalem approached Jesus, saying, 2 "Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands whenever they eat bread." 3 He answered and said to them, "Why do you also transgress the commandment of God on account of your tradition? 4 For God commanded, saying, 'Honor your father and your mother'; and, 'He who curses father or mother, with death let him die.' 5 But you say, 'Whoever says to his father or mother, "It is a gift to God, whatever profit you might have received from me"-- 6 then by no means should he honor his father or mother.' Thus you have nullified the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition. 7 Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying, 8 'These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and they honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far away from Me. 9 And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.' "
Matthew 23:1 Then Jesus spoke to the crowds and to His disciples, 2 saying: "The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses' seat. 3 Therefore whatever they may say to you to observe, observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do. 4 For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they do not desire to move them with their finger.

Because we know their religioin and Catholics are prejudiced, just like the Muslims.
Protestants are not.
We tell you the truth.
We tell you Catholics were here first.
Catholics were started by Paul and Peter and John
We don't lie
Cathlics ONCE took MONEY to let people out of SIN
That's why we have Protestants because Protestants don't take Bribe or Blood money to relieve you of sins
Protestants expect you not to sin
There is no absolution from the Protestant Church
You live sin free or you die in hell for not beleiving in God and Jesus or for blasphemy.
Hey Catholic
Explain to me why there are currently 15% Priests still working out there with charages of Sexual Abuse levied against them, mostly by older guys who got abused when they were 10, 11, 12, 13, 14
How come these Priests aren't suspended
How come these PEDOPHILE HOMOSEXUAL PRIESTS aren't tried for Heresy or EXCOMMUNicATED
Why are Catholic Priests Homosexual Pedophiles.
Most Protestant Minsters molest GIRLS or their mothers.
Our holy men are mostly heterosexual pervs, not homosexual pervs
Don't deny it or I WILL PUBLISH A LIST HERE OF ALL THE NAMES OF ALL THE PRIESTS IN AMERICA WITH PENDING SEX CRIME ALLEGATIONS
It will post it on THIS QUESTION as a comment
Live with the SINS of your Priests who can't marry, thus making it a religioni that attracts homosexuals who don't ever want to marry a woman!
Live with your Pope who endangers the world with his inflamatory speeches about Muslims
I don't care if it's right and wrong and he probably was right, he should put salt on a wound.
That's your Religion and you HAVE to live with the Pope's current problems.
Now, go convert people. Go explain LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR (Oh, sorry you don't read or interpret the Bible, the Pope DOES and he preches HATRED against Muslims) to the converts!
See if Billy Graham, Pat Roberstson, Jerry Fallwell or other Protestant extremists have done any Islam bashing lately.
Protestants ain't that stupid!
What's the difference between a Catholic and a Protestant.
If you say the Pope Sucks you go to Hell or get excommunicated or charged with heresey (as opposed to committing homosexual pedophile acts which only get you transferred to a new parish, now IF you make a complaint against an INFALLIBLE man of God, that's heresey!).
If you say Billy Graham Sucks, Jerry Fallwell Sucks, Pat Robertson sucks, nothing happens at all other than a few agree with you and a few don't agree with you.

I came out of Catholicism, after 18 years of Catholic school. Most Catholics don't know what they believe, only what they are told to believe. I started reading Scripture and that led me out of Catholicism. I do not doubt that there are Christians in Catholicism, but the majority are practical atheists. They give God lip service on Sunday, then live like He doesn't exist Mon through Sat.. Believe me, many evangelicals know more about Catholic teachings than do Catholics.

Non-Catholics are programmed to believe what they believe. Otherwise, they would all be Catholics.
Fallen away Catholics never learned the truth of the faith they were born into. Maybe it's their fault, maybe not.
As for all the rest of our wonderful posters here, have you ever seen a bigger bunch of lies, half-truths, false assertions, and pure hatred?
Evidently, the only books some people put their faith in are the Bible, "The Two Babylons" and "Fox's Book of Martyrs".
They misunderstand and mistranslate the one, and then mistakenly take the other two as gospel.
May God have mercy on their souls.

There is a good chance that many of the non-Catholics that are answering questions directed at Catholics....are actually ex-Catholics. Like myself. After 12 years of catholic school and church and indoctrination, I feel qualified to at least offer an opinion. =)

Years after the death of Christ, The High Priest of the Roman Sun God, Constantine, Emperor of Rome, seeing that Christianity was becomeing popular, decided that he would hijack that religon to the use of controlling kings and populations. Constantine was never a Christian himself but is touted as the first Christian Roman Emperor because on his deathbed when he could no longer fight back the Cardinals of Rome baptized him. This was of course not a true baptism for many reasons and since it was against his will, is void. Constantine created the Nicene Council to create the dogma of the Roman Catholic Church. What they came up with was a far cry from what Christ taught but the world bought it anyway and thus began the reign of terror (Inquisition, Crusades, Invasion of the Americas,The amassing of enormous wealth in art and treasure, etc...) that is the Catholic Church. A church founded on evil can not change it's spots and call itself something else later. 2000 years later after the destruction of the true scripture and the cultures of many different peoples, the Catholic Church still shows it's beginnings in its support and protection of a cadre of Homosexual Pedophile Priests, worship of humans, Idolitry, and many other sins. To this day the Pope reluctantly admits that Popes no longer recieve revelation from God. I believe they never did and that all Churches based on and divided from this church are on the wrong track and using incorrect doctrine.
this is the Truth he doesn't want you to know.

That's easy...
Most non-Catholics are actually Catholics who stopped believing in Catholicism after seeing the hypocrisy and double-standard morality imposed by the Roman Catholic Church and it's "religious" leaders.
I was a Roman Catholic for 33 years before I renounced it and converted to Islam because my devout Roman Catholic grandparents were murdered by their devoultly Roman Catholic sons and daughters through passive involuntary euthanasia (isn't euthanasia suppose to be a crime in any God-fearing religion?)
After the murder of my grandparents, those Catholic hypocrites took my inheritance by virtue of a technicality of the law through Roman Catholic and non-Catholic Christian lawyers and judges. (Thou shalt not steal or covert definitely was NOT one of the ten commandments of these so-called "God-fearing" people).
I cannot and will NOT bow down to the Roman Catholic Church and it's hypocritical leaders and I will NEVER embrace its customs and traditions. Not after what I saw done my grandparents.
And I'll be glad to provide you with all the necessary information about the Roman Catholic Church (through e-mail) which might make you vomit because it's the truth.

because we like to give you fish eaters a hard time. My sister converted to catholicism to marry a guy none of us like. He is successful in business but a big drinker, and an unfaitful husband. Lots of his guests got so drunk at the wedding reception that they stopped breathing and had to be rushed to the ER. Other than that, we like you.
