Product buildup is what causes dull hair. Use Neutrogena weekly anti-buildup shampoo in addition to your regular shampoo. This will really make your scalp healthy too. You should also have your hair trimmed every few months and avoid any styling products that contain alcohol. Follow with a shine spritz (Citre Shine is good but there are many that work). There is also a new product in the hair dye section by Clairol Natural Instincts called Shine Happy, which is basically the home version of the glaze stylists use after color treating. You can use it once a month for a more permanent gloss and it will not damage your hair.
One more thing - take a knee-length nylon stocking and put it over your brush, then brush your hair with it. The nylon catches all the build-up and you can actually see what your regular shampoo is leaving behind. It's gross but it will make your hair shine.

Pantene will make your hair look shiny because of all the wax it contains.

The wax in Pantene will coat your hair which causes your hair to suffercate. The hair will weaken and cause you breakage.

In order to have natural shiny looking hair it has to come from the inside out. If your hair is damaged shampoo is not going to make it look healthy & shiny. Even if your hair is healthy shampoo isn't what causes the shine. It would be the conditioner more so than the shampoo.

Biolage makes a product called Shine Rewal Spray, you spray it over your hair once it is dry or if you style it after it is styled. It will make your hair shine really nice.

Biolage also makes great shampoos and conditioners. Go to a beauty salon that sells Biolage products and that will be a great starting point.

Good Luck,
Stylist of 9 yrs.

To get the frizz out of your hair...wash, then try sufficient conditioner on your hair to grasp it and then towel dry it. place some conditioner interior the palm of your hand, like hand cream and placed it nevertheless the ends of your hair. it won't count what shampoo/ conditioner you employ...that's the type you're making it paintings for you. Plus, attempt to bathe it the different day, too. enable your hair build back up the organic oils it could have in it. Washing customary could be better difficult on hair that has been dyed, somewhat blond and super hair, that could be a bleach chemical on it. supply it a try, i think of you would be taken aback how severe high quality and delicate and viable that is going to prove. don't be worried of a 2nd day type with out washing it, that is going to be extra maintainable the 2nd day around and save you time, too. a rapid warm curler right here and there or a rapid blow dryer with a around brush for a %. me up.

I use MATRIX it really does make my hair shiny and silky looking. I wear it very straight and sleek. It's about $13.00 a bottle each for the shampoo and the conditioner. But I think it's worth it.

Maybe it's not a shampoo that you need. What about the new glazes that are out there? they make your hair soft and give it a shiny glaze to either your color or your dyed color. I use the John Freida (I know you don't like) but Clairol has a new one too.

The Philosophy Shear Splendor line is pricey, but makes my curly, coarse hair soft as satin.

If you have brown hair, which it looks like you might, use John Frieda's Sheer Brunette shampoo & conditioner. It works!
