My daughter is 9 years old and I caught her wiping a nasty slimy booger in the middle of my bed pillow. I was mad beyond words. What would you do?

Wash the pillow and then I would get my revenge... with her present. What is good for the goose is good for the gander!!

I had a similar situation happen just this Friday. In the morning, I noticed a booger on the wall above my 8 yr old daughter's bed. I decided to leave it there so I can call it to her attention for when she got home from school. In all honesty, I actually thought it was kinda funny.

Later in the afternoon, after I had picked her up from school, I noticed a booger on the front of her bedroom door. Well, I thought it was funny, but was now disgusted and irked at the same time.

I called her upstairs, pointed out the boogers to her and asked her if she had put them there. She said that she did. I asked her why and she answered, "I was too lazy to get up to throw them away, so I just flung them." Trying really hard not to burst out laughing, I told her to get them off her wall and door and throw them away. I also told her that it is very disgusting and unsanitary and to never do it again.

Kids are just that... kids. The best thing we can do, especially at this age range, is to tell them what's right and wrong, what's acceptable and what isn't and give them the chance to make their wrong right.

Think of it as a memory that you and your daughter will have to share together when she gets older. You'll both have a laugh... guaranteed!

Talk to her about RESPECT and how unthoughtful that was of her. Ask her how she would like it if she had to rest her little head on one of your big green slime-ers. Then as a punishment, on laundry day or whenever you wash sheets...which I am guessing that you washed the pillowcase right then, or at least took it off! Anyway, tell her that she will have to strip all the beds, carry all the dirty sheets to the washer, wash them, transfer them to the dryer, dry them, then remake all the beds.

For moms, that's nothing..we can change a bed in our sleep. But for a 9 year old, she'll come to appreciate the hard work that goes into that.

Also, since it's not my kid, I can laugh about it...and someday you might too.

I have a 9 year old daughter myself but she wouldn't done anything like that because I would tell her about her self and make her change my pillow case. That's nasty. I would sit her down and tell her that is not clean and how would she feel if you did that to her.

I wiped snots on the wall when I was 9. I have no idea why I did that. LOL I am now 30 and my jerk-off older brother loves to tell people that when we are with company.

If she seemed embarassed that you caught her, then just forget it after scolding her. Like I said there may be no rhyme or reason. If you think there was a motive - like she was mad about something - punish her *ss!!

wipe a booger on her pillow and ask her how she feels... it may show her a lesson and if that does not work what you need to do is tell her that it is immature of her and she should no better to still be picking her nose!

Make the little brat sleep on the pillow for a night.

Tell her that is not a nice thing to do, change the pillow case, and let it go. She is only nine and it will come out in the wash.
