Hold on one minute!
I do not think my way is the right way. It is simply the one that is best for me.
We do not recruit.
I don't think as whole we have defended ourselves. All groups do have their zealots though.
I haven't heard of blood being spilled in the name of Paganism/Wicca.

you try your best to get the answer to all your questions. It's an intellectual process of elimination. I guess the one that fits your psychological and emotional demands seems to be the one that's "right". Not all religions can fulfill the needs of man because there's always a need and/or concern. For me islam is the one religion that has every answer to every question therefore I feel that it's right for me. Now for someone else it might not be. So you have to break it down and understand why. the reason why is due to the extreme fulfillment I receive when I get my answers to all the questions I have. The answers are always logical and direct to the point. Whereas other religions some of the answers are debated and unclear to me. that's why I feel that mine is right for me.
as far as blood being spilled. well before religion Cain and Abel. that was before any defined religion came about so it's not religion it's man. Man thinks that in order for religion to prevail then wars must be fought. it's an insecurity within themselves. little do they realize that this is going against GOD's wishes unless your given no other alternative. Like right now. Where does anyone see the possibility of peace. My foot! everyone is hating one another more and more by the second thanks to the media. Just like the media that was provoked by Pope Urban II during the crusades. manipulate the masses for war and then you'll have war. Man by nature loves war because in the end it gives him a sense of victory even though he has lost a great deal and caused a great deal of destuction. bottom line-man doesn't think about the consequences of his actions that's why blood spills.

If most religions believe in only one higher power, what makes yours right? There is not one single religion that is right. All religions but my own are wrong for me, but they are right for many others.
every group tries to recruit, why is it ok for yours and not them? My religion doesn't try to recruit
every religion at some point has had to defend themselves, why is that so wrong? it's not. everyone has the right to defend themselves
every religion has had to spill blood, why is it ok for yours and not theirs? it's never ok except in self-defense. murder is always wrong
I am an educated person so if you have empty answers, then save them for another question. if my answers haven't explained enough for you, please feel free to email me...

why are all other religions but yours wrong?
-They're not.
If most religions believe in only one higher power, what makes yours right?
-Mine's not right to everyone. Mine is only right to those whom it FEELS right to. Mine is not the only valid spiritual path.
every group tries to recruit, why is it ok for yours and not them?
-My group doesn't recruit. If we did, we'd be in the wrong. It's not right for any group to recruit.
every religion at some point has had to defend themselves, why is that so wrong?
-Of course when you're being attacked, you SHOULD defend yourself. That's the natural reaction.
every religion has had to spill blood, why is it ok for yours and not theirs?
-It's not okay for mine to spill blood other than in self-defense. It's not okay for any religion to spill blood. Murder is wrong.
I am an educated person so if you have empty answers, then save them for another question.
-I hope my answers have been clear to you. If not, you're welcome to IM or e-mail me.
By the way, I'm a Pagan. Blessed be.

Any religions have some good people in them. Some religions only teach the old testament. some religions have a lot of man made rules. Not Gods law. But any that bow down to a graven image or likeness is braking the first 4 commandments. But the main reason is keeping the Sabbath day. Sabbath is not Sunday it is Saturday! Sabbath is at the end of the week, not the begging!

First I don't believe that all other religions are wrong. But I do believe that The Church of Jesus Christ L.D.S. (Mormon) is the only church that has the fullness of the Gospel and that Jesus Christ has restored this church to the earth along with the holy priesthood. But to know this is a fact, you have to have enough faith to read the book of Mormon, pray as to the truth of what you have read and learn about the church. After you have done this the lord will provide the proof by the Holy Ghost. Do not trust in man but rely on God for the answer to your question.

There is no "Right" religion. Religion is a concept created by man in an attempt to explain the things he did not understand. Later it became a "Power" thing. Kinda like "Kennel Rations" ditty..My dogs bigger than your dog, my dogs bigger than yours....blah blah blah.
People who try to cram their religion down anothers throat or brow beat them into accepting their god as the only god need to keep their religion to them selves.
It is my belief that if you have a "God or higher power" that you choose to worship, it should be a personal thing. As in Private. Not a public free for all to see who can garner the greatest number of followers.
As for defending your religion..theres nothing wrong with that. You defend what you believe in. That is human nature.
Again it is a Power thing. Many people have been tortured, mutilated and slain in the name of "Religion". There are fanatics still doing it.
Religion is supposed to bring personal peace and the faith to believe in what you cannot see and the ability to be compassionate. It is not meant to be a weapon of violence against others.
If you have a personal "higher power" you choose to worship and follow the teaching of, that is your business. Your right. If I ask you about your religion, then by all means, explain it to me but do not put me down or condem because I have a different point of view or belief.
I don't care if you worship a tree or a toilet. If it brings you personal peace that is all that matters.

who says anyone is right ? Its what you have faith in. most of them all agree with one thing there is one somewhere at the end who is the higher power or creator. with good and evil. so take your pick . He is there and I'm sure we all will meet him sooner than we think. I was thinking the other day about why is it almost every religion always refers to before and after the birth of Christ if no one ever didn't think he was born then. Even the people who dont beleive still acept and use bc and ad when talking about dates. why is that i wonder?

To your many questions is my answer:
First of all, not all religions are entirely right and not all religions are entirely wrong. The key word is: entirely. There are some religions that are almost entirely right and there are some that are almost ENTIRELY WRONG. Just as sadly, there IS NONE THAT IS ENTIRELY RIGHT. I don't mean this sarcasticly so don't take it that way please but if you did not get that the first time, it is okay to read it over again and chew on that for awhile.
The reason that none is ENTIRELY right is because they have either added their own rules and called them traditions or there are others which have entirely made up their whole system. I have a religion and there are a few, very few things in it that I do not believe but the word of God I do believe. Next question stated that every group tries to recruit. If you believe you are 100% right, then I suppose you might recruit, rather than let others fall by the wayside. WE ARE OUR BROTHERS KEEPERS. That gives everyone the responsibility if they really LOVE their neighbor, to make him aware of the truth, not to jam it down his throat or kill him if he does not believe it. You see, by killing someone who is not a believer now, you take away his ability to experience and find out along the way if he is wrong. He may never realize it, but on the other hand, if he would have and would have converted as a result, you have taken his chance to away and you have caused him to be certainly lost or condemned by killing him before he has used up all opportunity. I would ask that you chew on that one for awhile as well. Therefore, it is wrong to scream kill the infidel or do so, but it is not wrong to make information available. Always available but NEVER forced down someone. After all, if you force your religion on another it is just that, it is forced but it is not in their heart, so nothing is accomplished. Man is to choose the path he takes. It is therefore important to make the choices known but I do not label that recruiting because that is too much like a military draft for which there is no true freedom of choice. Therefore, if you mean recruit in that sense, then I am against A N Y O N E doing that.
However, I will suppose you mean to spread propaganda or information through good example, friendship, written materials, willingness to explain and other non compulsary ways. That is okay for any religion to do in love, my friend. Let those who have eyes see and those who have ears hear and let those choose for themselves. If they choose wrongly at first, they well may CHOOSE differently later. If they do not, you have filled your obligation and they have made their own freewill choice which is the basis they will be judged on. That is how it has been set up rom the beginning that man is responsible for his choices. It is not then true that I believe my "group" has the right to recruit and it is not okay for others.
Every religion you said, has at some point had to defend themselves and why is that so wrong you asked. Well, first of all there are alot non violent people who base their non violence on their beliefs, so it is not true that all defend themselves. It is only true that all have a reason for their beliefs. There are alot of martyrs who went silently to death only refusing to convert. That scenario is true in more than one religious arena. Some choose to defend themselves and I am hoping you recognize that is their free will CHOICE and that I refer to it primarily in the verbal sense, although there have been many who have held fortresses or sanctuaries in their physical defense. I am NOT speaking of any believers here who in any religion have gone on a murdering crusade to spread their beliefs or to force them on others. There are people who from all religions have chosen to do that at some point in history but it is not right no matter if it is done as an individual or in a mob mentality. Next, and connected I presume, to those thoughts, you state that every religion has HAD to spill blood, asking why is it ok for yours and not for theirs. First off, there is no religion that HAD to, they CHOSE to. Second of all, as I told you before and will tell you again: IT IS NOT OK. NOT OKAY. NOT OKAY. I take very serious the words of God, "Thou shalt not kill." I will not even address whether I am a "very educated person" or whether you are because I have not given you an answer that is like the sound of one hand clapping and because it does not take an education to know things like cohersion and killing are WRONG. Just think about it.

Seems to be a part of human nature, probably based in an 'us or them' mind set.
Competition for resources extends into the spirit world apparently, and all people seem to believe that might makes right, if it theirs.
Thus all of the new world was stolen from the original population, and we give ourselves leave to make war, kill, send our own children off to die.
I think the Creator is both parent and friend, to all, and expects us to act to our siblings (all human kind) as any parent would want their children to behave towards each other.
Congratulations on being educated. May you also find intelligence and wisdom as well. Keep asking good questions, it sure seems to be the ones with all the answers that are screwing things up.

The answer is that Christianity in its truest form (following Jesus' teachings, and believing that the Bible is true) is a religion separated completely from all other religions. If you ask a Muslim if he is going to Heaven he will say he hopes so. The same with a Mormon, Jehovah Witness, etc. The reason why they say they hope so is because all of these religions are based on working your way to Heaven. In other words you hope you have done enough good things in your life to make it. Hoping your good works outweigh your bad works and that God will overlook your bad stuff.
Christianity stands alone preaching that you, me, your teacher, your pastor, your prophet, etc. are all evil, vile, creatures that deserve nothing less than eternity in Hell for our many offenses against a Holy God. God is so Holy that He and sin cannot coexist. Sin would be completely obliterated. Therefore none of us are worthy of Heaven. No one. But God's love and mercy for us is this...while we were still sinners He became a man, Jesus Christ, suffered and died a brutal death satisfying the full wrath of God so that we could enter into a right relationship with Him. Jesus, being resurrected from the dead and ascending to Heaven promises those that repent of their sins and put their trust in Him to save us from the wrath of God that each and every one of us deserves because of our sins, He will save us. That is the difference between Christianity and every other religion. It's the good news. Nobody can work their way to Heaven because no one is worthy. Only Jesus can save you and make you right with God.
