'Like' and 'hot' are the same thing to a guy. Guys don't have the thousand and one emotions like girls.

Generally a guy will look at you, smile at you, hang out around you and try to touch you...or even talk to you. If he does, he likes you(and thinks your hot. If you were cold or ugly he would not bother).
