OH MY GOODNESS!! Where are you people getting your information on the Mormon Church which is actually The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints?

I think some of you have the Mormon Church confused with the Pligs who are not affiliated with the COJCOLDS. They are doing their own thing. They have their own prophets and are the ones you hear about in all those wild news stories.

I lived in a town where Mormon's kept their second wives.
Fraizer Park, CA.
Biggest church was the Mormon Church. It was a full size, stand alone building.
Jews had to go up the Hill to the rich town where the small temple was.
Baptists had a little store front church in town.
In Los Angeles or Bakersfield you can count the number of mormons on one hand! These cities are mostly Presbyterians, Calvanists, Catholics, Jews. Mormons have dinky little churches in Los Angeles. Grace Community Church, a mainstream Protestant Church down the road from the dinkly little mormon church, takes up 3 city blocks! Two of which are for parking!
So why, pray tell, is the Mormon Church so LARGE in Frazier Park!
It's a nice, hidden little community and I just outted it!
There is NO commerice in Frazier Park. You have to work in the city. Not ONE job in that town can support a family! Funny, all the women stay at home. Not one of them leaves. Only the husbands do, for months at a time.
The "normal" christians go and come every day. The go down the hill or up the grape vine to work and come home, every damn day! Not the mormons!
Many of the husbands were truckers who were on the road 6 months out of the year, yet they had LARGE families.
Maybe NOT all Mormons are like this, but some are and we know it.
We know any good Mormon lives in Utah to be close to the home Church. If you're out in the sticks, what's that all about!
I don't personally care. That's your way, so be it!
But don't deny it!
Deny it and we can produce TV interview footage of second and third mormon wives who came clean on camera.
You're either proud of your life style or your not.
Don't hide in closets.
No religion is perfect!

The LDS Church (Mormon) has historically supported extra-Biblical doctrines. Many are vastly different from the doctrines of most Christian Churches (Heaven, hell, the planets, the origin of God, and Jesus Christ's relationship to Michael the Archangel and Lucifer, to name a few).
But even in the name, Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, the Mormons have used the name of Jesus Christ, yet deny His deity. That in itself would constitute taking the Lord's name in vain.
The KJV Bible is an excellent one to use, and as you say, the Mormon Church uses all of it. But they also use such works as The Book of Mormon, treating these writings of Joseph Smith as being equal to the inspired Word of God.
You should therefore be familiar with the KJV warning to those who would add to, or subtract from God's Word in Revelation 22:18,19. Plagues will be added to them and their names will be removed from the Lamb's Book of Life.
Paul gave a further warning to any who present a Gospel different from the one that was revealed to him and taught by him. To revere Moroni as a holy messenger, is a slap in the face to the Bible.
If you do not care to believe me, then at least do some research and compare...and then believe the Bible:

Ive done my homework too and I am good friends with a Mormon. If God is perfect then why would He even want to write another book? There are NO other Gods in this world or the next world. He is the only one. Men will NOT become Gods themselves. If you are taught to believe the Prophet... why is it that so many have made untrue prophesies when he is supposed to get that info straight from God? Why do you excommunicate your members instead of forgiving and judging? Why do you 'seal' yourself to one another? 'Sealing" won't guarantee that you will see your family in Heaven.. what if they are HUGE sinners and only go to the 3rd Heaven and not the 1st? Oh wait... if your in the 1st Heaven you can go cisit the lower Heavens... I forgot. Or for that matter never get into Heaven if they are excommunicated. If joseph Smith was listening to God why was multiple marriages ok? Joseph had several wives. God wouldnt change His mind.. remember He is perfect and doesn't make bad judgment calls.
