I am absolutely an environmentalist. And yes I knew it was NSC day. I am actually a marine biologist I am working on my masters. There are a ton of things that I would love to do to improve and protect our environment especially along the nations coastlines. Water pollution is one of the hardest things to control in this coutry because that is where the greatest populations occur. Agriculture runoff, dumping of toxic waste and chemicals happens everyday. We need better enforcement and new ways to prevent build up of these pollutants. I am not perfect but I conserve water, I recycle as much as possible, and I just try to educate people on the subject.

Not all the people live on Shoreline. If I would have been living near the coastal line, should have given time to this activity. I like to work on raising awareness about environmental issues on different forums, I requset you to take interest in this activity.

OMG! i consider myself a person who's concerned with the environment and i certainly didn't know about his. Can you please tell me of a website I can keep up with dates like this?
I do a lot of things usually; lightsaving bulbs, recycling, solar energy for garden decoration... don't buy mags and other publications unless they're printed on recycled paper, etc.
