All religions are exactly like this.
the religion wants their believers to be controlled, be powerless, be brainwashed, be braindead of the religions beliefs.
Look at Jesus. The jews had him put to death, or at least attempted to be put to death. but, Jesus knew this and he went through with it and lived through the crucifixion, past religious beliefs.
Proof, Jesus had the consciousness to create a private, personal, direct, divine relationship with Our Creator. Other intelligent, highly consciousness people have done it too, How did you asked?
because God has given us all the ability to create such a relationship because we are a creation of Our Creator, the only perfect being.

Many people, including the Jews, misunderstand what this means. What it means is that salvation (Jesus Christ, the messiah) would come from the Jews. That is it!

I really like your question. This is exactly why I chose to worship God and only God. Not any of his prophets, like Jesus (that's all Jesus was people....he wasn't the son of God and anyone who believes that must believe in fairy tales as well) or Mohammed, piece be upon him. Modern religion is a form of brainwashing and control. True Islam is the only religion I've studied (and I've studied quite a few) that really tells it's readers all praise is due to God and stresses this point throughout the entire book (that book being the Qu'ran). It doesn't say one race is the "chosen people". It doesn't suggest if you don't believe some prophet died for your sins and that prophet was the son of God then your soul will go to hell (that's pretty awful for a religion to stress that, don't you think). But even modern day Islam is moving away from the true word of God because the power of persuasion God has given man is allowing man to use religion as a tool to keep us blind and deaf. Follow God and you will be blessed, righteous, and at peace with yourself and your surroundings....there is absolutely no need to follow a religion.

You are speaking way too generally.
The disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ are free in Him. They are not controlled by any religion. If the Son makes you free you are free indeed.
I take issue with this statement of yours:

You are preaching a different Gospel than the one Jesus gives us. Its not "religion" its relationship with Him, a member of the Godhead. It has nothing to do with creating a relationship through higher consciousness. His words and truth states:
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love Me, he will keep My words: and My Father will love him, and We will come unto him, and make Our abode with him. Jn 14:24
God establishes the relationship.

Hebrew was the name give to any one coming from the other side of the river. Judah is one of the tribes of Israel . Moses is thought to write the first 5 books of the Bible, The Torah. Moses,a supposed orphan Israelite,was raised in the Pharaohs home and educated. The Israelites were slaves and uneducated.Israel was the keeper of the records orally and then written. They also kept the genealogical record from Adam tho Jesus.
The entire Biblical record exists to give evidence the God Keeps his Promises, Negative and Positive.
The word religion means to remember. We some times choose to remember what we are
taught or investigate for ours selves. Any one who thinks they know all they to learn from Sunday is still a baby Christian. If you want meat your have to study. If you need any study helps let me know. It sounds like your ready for your journey to higher knowledge.

Jewish people do not believe that Jesus was the Messiah. I would suggest that you research a little so that you could understand better what Judaism teaches, but the diatribe after your questions seems to be that of a closed-minded person.
If I'm wrong, and you really want to know, try speaking with someone who practices Judaism, so that you can understand why they believe as they do.

He has in his own choice choosen Israel to bless the other nations.
Now, all other nations are also choosen. (1 pet 2:9). So, no more special for Jews. For they too, are like us (Gentile) that need Jesus (read Galatians).
In Romans, it also mentioned that Jews like us, need salvations, and Paul was so sad that his fellow Jews do not accept the messiah and that he wish to exchage the position with them.

God only needed one People to provide a bloodline leading to Jesus. He didn't choose them just to choose them, He chose them for a purpose. Now that that purpose has been fulfilled, ALL men now have a path to God.
