... they really weren't. In fact their jokes were always stupid and they don't know how to tell a punchline.... and they married into your family..... how long would you wait to tell them they aren't funny... and how would you tell them that your tiired pretending that their jokes SUCK!

if you be kinda sarcastic, and look them in the eyes and say, "you're not very good at telling jokes i hope you know." and then just kinda walk away, and hang out with them for awhile, and regain their friendship.

Just tell them, but be nice about it. I always give my hubby a hard time about not being able to tell a good joke, or once he finds a good one he tells it so many times it losses its appeal. Just be nice about it and say, " Dude, you dont know how to tell a joke to save your life!" Then laugh after you say it. They will know you are trying to be funny and truthful all at once.

Just don't laugh, they'll get it. they'll feel silly for making stupid coments and maybe realize that they're the only one that thinks its funny. And they may not care! Maybe the person doesn't care if you laugh and they are funny to themselves. You don't have to laugh! People will get the point if you don't laugh. Be real!

always pretend to laugh..my husband is the same way! just think it's funny. or look at something that you think is funny anything to get your mind of their sense of humour!
