Just curious. I'm single but I would really like not to be. :) I just haven't found the right guy yet.

from the time I was in my teens untill early 40's I was in a relationship, when one ended I'd be right into another without
even a chance to mourn the loss. Then one day , it occured to me that I didnt have control over my life , that I had no idea what I was like independently and I just didn't have it to give anymore since i realized I was pretty dysfunctional since my happiness depended on the condition of my relationship .
I walked away from the last one never looking back and till this day, I am still single and much happier overall. My life is my own, It wasn't easy at first but was still better then beforea nd now I would have to think pretty hard to get into another relationship. I just dont have it to give anymore, I enjoy the relationship with myself and my freedom and the freedom to see who I want when I want, don't have to do anyone's laundry, sit by a phone or watch what they want on tv ,entertain their friends or cover bills that they don't .or argue, I can have different sex partners without guilt or commitment and don't have to wake up next to anyone I dont want to . I can not answer my phone and eat when ever I want and leave my stockings hanging in the shower if I want.Life is good now.
and there are really alot of nice guys out there. I don't think I'd feel this way had I not spent so many years wrapped up in relationships though.
Stop looking and this right guy will appear, enjoy singldom while you still can

LOL. The second part of the question is the answer. I just haven't found the right girl. Seeing so many people in failed marriages, and having been close once or twice myself, I decided I'd rather be alone, than get married simply because it's expected, or my other friends are married. Seems like too many people get married cause they're not happy, or only happy if thier with a boy/girlfriend. To me, it seems obvious that one can't be happy in a relationship if they're unhappy with themselves.

I really dont like the whole dating process. I think the key to dating is having confidence. You need to go from date to date without letting one persons drama keeping you from moving on. Its kinda like owning a duplex. You need to evict the non paying tenants without getting emotionally involved because you need to pay the bills. If your previous date said some rude things to you, and keyed up your car you gotta forget about the terrible past, and move on to the next one. It may take dating over 10 people to find the right person, but im not into that.

Im single because when guys try and pursue me im usually always pursuing someone else and dont pay attention to them. When i like someone i only focus on them and no one else...also im looking for the right person that fits my description in what i want in a guy.

Most guys I meet are always trying to get into my pants instead of getting to know me. I know there's a decent guy out there for me so I'm still looking. Don't worry, you will find the right guy :)

I had but he dumped me for another girl and I'm not ready 4 another bf at the moment cuz I'm still hurting. Im only 13 and already have been hurt. Im also afraid I'm gonna get hurt again.

i dont want to have a boyfriend because i had only 1 really bad experience and i'd rather have one last, great experience then a lot of bad ones..
i learned my lesson, that's why im single
