In 1987, it was noted that the Childrens Aid Society had been corrupted to attack all men, the model of abuse, "men who abuse, women and children victims" (a half-truth (3)) you will note the radical feminist perspective of women victims had corrupted this agency.
The same with spousal abuse, 'Stop violence against women" (a hlaf-truth(3))polarizes the issue by deceptively attacking all men.
The issue was not that 'men' in particular were being attacked, but that the family was being unfairly polarized, by what appeared to be a cult.
Attempts by an agenda to redefine marriage in Canada was using another type of deceptive half-truth (4), a literal part of the truth, ie "We are all equal before God" became 'we are all equal", a manipulation of logic and philosophy.
Attempts to expose this negative side of Truth, ie half-truth (3)= a tottally true statement that deceives by being part of the greater truth) has been censored.
Why is the media not exposing this ?

Jewishgirl...obviously what you are and what your group is, is not the case in the formentioned case.
The statement, 'stop violence against women' appears a noble cause, but in fact is a deadly deceptive half-truth used by non-heterosexuals to attack it.
The real issue is the abuse of people, violence is merely one form of it. Most victims of violence in society are men, however the statistics in family suggest women appear to be the larger group, but that does not logically suggest that the statement is correct, merely politically correct, and that is the problem.
We speak of equality and yet some social programs have been corrupted by this agenda...I am bringing them to your attention in hopes of correcting the problem.
Remember in lesbian relationships, the abuser is a women in 100% of the incidents. Some radical lesbians are using women's centers in promoting their anti-male agenda, although some might argue that it is anti-family, what do you think ?

The research into how family programs was dividing the family, focused on half-truths.
At the time 1987, there was only one definition of half-truth in the dictionary, several new ones were identified.
So it became obvious that a truth that was part of the whole truth can be a deceptive lie. The media was contacted about this back in 1989 and they did not reveal it.
The definition of 'half-truth' has been expanded in some books. The online dictionary wikipedia has used my inputs to expand their definition correctly...

Remember these half-truths, or at least one type is totally true, merely part of a greater truth.
So then it dawned on me that if truth can lie, could this be the original sin ? A sin that corrupted our philosophy concerning truth ?
Seems we are still believing that knowledge, or truths can make us like God to know The Truth; that was and is a lie, and our definition of truth makes no mention of this.

To simply say, 'Stop violence against women' polarizes the issue and society.
Merely saying 'stop violence' says more with less.

Probably because you are using outdated resources and speaking half truths your self. Spousal abuse against men is being reported, but is still in the minority of abuse victims. We are not all equal according to God, or Jesus would have never acknowledged 'the least of my brothers'. Jesus knew that all people were not equal in health, position or wealth. That is why we who are fortunate enough to have the means should help them. We should all pray for victims of abuse, man, woman, or child.

as a person involved with the childrens aid society, i can tell you that CAS does not discriminate against men. most of the kids in care are there because of their mothers, not fathers.
"stop violence against women" does not discriminate against all men either. i think you may be one of those people with a victim complex.

i'm still not sure how you consider "stop violence against women" to be a deceptive and deadly half truth. maybe i am just not understanding your viewpoint. you said that the CAS is biased towards women, but they are not. the reason the slogan of stop violence against women is so important is because its root in a greater issue - sexism towards women and assumptions of the superiority of masculine values, which are the values which our society is based on. general violence and violence against women are different. the strategies to combat both must be different. you should not be complaining about discrimination against men, you should be complaining about the glorification of violence in society.
