If both sides are blank, then put the stamp in the upper right corner of the card and the address below that. There should be no other writing on the right side under the stamp.

Just to make it clear, the card should be placed with the lower and upper edges being the longer sides. For example, if the card is 3x5 inches, the 5 inch sides are the top and bottom.

Put your message on the other side and/or on the left side away from the address (It would help if you drew a line from the top to bottom of the card just to the left of the address).

If there is a picture on one side, then the stamp and address go on the other side from the picture.

If both area are clean, then placed the stamp interior the added ideal correct nook of the cardboard and the address decrease than that. There must be no diverse writing on the right area lower than the stamp. in reality to make it clean, the cardboard must be placed with the decrease and good edges being the longer elements. as an celebration, if the cardboard is 3x5 inches, the 5 inch elements are the precise and bottom. placed your message on the diverse area and/or on the left area far off from the address (it would favor to help in case you drew a line from the precise to bottom of the cardboard in reality to the left of the address). If there's a photo on one area, then the stamp and address flow on the diverse area from the picture.

Usually the address is written on the right side, around/below the middle so that there is enough space for the stamp at the top.

The right side. The left side is for writing. But as long as the stamp and address are on it, I don't think it matters.

The address goes on the right-hand side, underneath the stamp.

The edge. You have to balance it perfectly and if any of it touched either side it gets lost in the mail.I know because I spent 12 years debating that very question.
