I'm not sure if your even listening to yourself. On the one hand your asking your question and then on the other your admitting you make crude remarks. Are you not intelligent enough to see that is certainly not being a good husband. Weight is a very sensitive issue for women. Get a grip on yourself and start being a sensitive husband to her. Maybe you need some counseling to what a good husband verses bad husband is. I feel sorry for your poor wife.

Sounds like you don't like your weight very much. Instead of cutting your wife down, ask her to help you lose it. Take a walk together after dinner or in the morning. This way, you will both be losing weight. The fresh air will also (hopefully) clear out the bad energy you have and you may come up with something nice to say to your wife. Who knows, you 2 may fall in love all over again!

well if what you say is true and you are bigger than her, then your "crude remarks" are probably just drawing more attention to yourself because anyone can look and tell who is the biggest. They are probably looking at you and thinking "isn't he a good one to be talking, who's really the fattest?"
and while I won't say your a bad husband, your not really being a very good one. I'm sure these comments hurt her more than you realize. How would you feel if she treated you the same way?

Actually you are drawing attention to yourself by being obviously rude to your wife. But by the way you word your question I'm betting you already know that. Apoligize to her and then join a gym and tell her you plan on making yourself better and you would love it if she joined you but if she choses not to you will always think she is beautiful. And mean it or you might loose her and if shes stuck with you through your verbal abuse she is an amazing woman that you do not want to loose.

By making remarks about her weight, considering you've tripled in size is completely hypocritical. There's a saying that goes like this: "You can't pick the splinter out of someone else's eye without taking the plank out of your own." You fall into that, and should highly take pointers from it. Maybe if you're subconscious about your weight and feel she could lose some, join a gym with her and work out together. Me and my boyfriend are doing it and we are a lot happier with ourselves and eachother.

How is drawing attention from yourself and placing it on your wife being humble?
You're not only being a bad husband you're being a huge a55hole. You're lucky to even have a wife.
What's happening is that you're projecting your unhappiness onto your wife. Get some help!
I just hope you don't have children and if you do I hope you realize they see how you treat her and will repeat your behavior.
Stop screwing up your family and get some help.

I really believe that sometimes a person needs a taste of their own medicine, BUT, I have a hard time myself in giving a person their own.. (some people say I'm just too nice}. But if she was to do the same to you, how would you feel? Although I think it takes more than your comments to make you a bad husband, but you do need to think of how you may be making her feel. Not too good.

Instead of rubbing it in her face that you have surpassed her weight gain, try encouraging her to eat more, even if it means giving up that last slice of pizza with triple cheese. Let her know how much you love every bit about her even if she doesn't gain the weight you so crave for her to have.
