Oh my. It is so hard to answer this question. Cunningham muffins knows that muffins make the best breakfasts so they have so many exciting new flavors. You should try them all.
They have blueberry, lemon poppy seed, date nut, nut, banana, star wars muffin, pencil, paperclip, fire,cornflake, and the ever popular cartoon muffin.
I would have to say my favorite is the imaginary muffin because it can be so many flavors at once!

Blueberry buttermilk Muffin or Triple Chocolate Chunk Muffin

400g plain flour
175g caster sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 finely grated rind of lemon
1/2 teaspoon salt
284ml carton buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
85g butter, melted
250g fresh or frozen blueberries, used straight from frozen
1) Preheat the oven to 200 degree C / Gas 6 / fan oven 180 degree C. Butter a 12-hole muffin tin.
2) In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, lemon rind and salt. In a separate bow, mix together the buttermilk, eggs and butter.
3) Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the buttermilk mixture, stir until the ingredients are just combined and the mixture is quite stiff, but don't overmix.
4) Lightly fold in the blueberries, then spoon the mixture into the tins to fill generously.
5) Bake for about 25 minutes or until risen and pale golden on top. Leave to cool in the tin for about 5 minutes before turning out on to a wire rack, as the muffins are quite delicate when hot.
(You may replace lemon zest to orange zest & 250g fresh blackberries and bake for 15 -18 minutes)

I would love a homemade banana nut muffin made with walnuts and fresh bananas. just the smell of them cooking makes my mouth water and wakes up all my senses. YUM!
