There's always trouble if you put a TV in your kid's room, just take it out.

and, what's is it to do with wind speed and tempreture?

I am a teacher, also. The most simple solution would be to tell him he is spending too much time with the tv on and remove it from his room. Explain why you are removing it, as you do not want to make him feel as if he has done something wrong. Children (kids) who are of school age do not need to have TVs in their bedrooms. If he is interested in weather, he can read books or use the family computer to do research for a limited time each day. This will be a better learning experience for him, than just sitting in front of the tv screen.

Hi, first does he enjoy sports and if so, maybe get him into some football or hockey which are winter sports so he has an excuse to get out of the house... I dont know his age, but theres always boys clubs all over the place, maybe he would enjoy inter acting with and meeting new people.... if you have time maybe play some board games with him, there are so many which are so much fun or plan a project that you and him can do together, building a model plane or boat.... good luck!

That is good he is interested in these things. Remove the tv to a room in your house where he can be monitored. if he is so interested in meteorology...maybe take him to a musuem where he can further his study or maybe talk with local tv weatherman. Also tell him he can check the measurements twice a day. if he sees something thats indicating a big change tell him you will possibly alter the rules. you didnt say how old he is. Good luck!!

Take it out. Depending on how old your kid is also. Is ur kid under 13? They don't need one in their room. I hate it when I see 4 year olds with TVs in their rooms. In high school? Make sure their doing their HW and have friends.

Your question is too vague, How old is your child which you call a kid. Is he 5? 12? 16?19? How you deal with this problem depends on age. My answer to your vague question is if you want a serious answer be more specific and ask a profession counsellor not people who are only interesting in gaining 2 points on yahoo!

I am a teacher. I would say take the TV out of his room and that should solve your problems! Encourage him to read!

Remove the dangerous object from his room and tell him to hit the books or he won't get his half an hour everyday. That's how my mom raised me and that's probably why i have straight A's.
