I do this only to prove that the modern person has no concept of what their religion either says or stands for.

The Quran says that you shall bow before no one but Allah. If this is true then why are most Islamic states run by monarch and dictators? The Quran also endores enlightenment, yet the muslim world averages a third grade education. Please explain.

And please leave Iraq out of this. The last time that country was unified under someone other then Saddam the year ended in BCE.

Just wait till US forces move out.

Is any one going to answer why Islam only seems to thrive in a totalitariam/uneducated society.

Cherry, actually studies have linked piety to ignorance. If you don't understand the Big Bang Theory then God created the earth. If you don't understand how lightening is created then it is the wrath of god. Your intelligence is directly related to how pious one is.

If you live under a democracy or republic you have the freedom of religion (generally), however in a Feudal or totalitarian government you have no choice but to believe the state religion. And this is not a bashing question I am simply curious why the Islamic states live the way they do under the rule they choose to live under. And just answer the question.

Ok. First and foremost.....Islamic countries run by monarchs and most Islamic people having a third grade education....the issues you raised here were not caused by Islam but by men. Men who took the Quran out of context and created/formed laws or constitutions which run contrary to the Quran and the prescribed Sharia laws.

This is no different from most Christian leaders today who proclaim they're Christian but continue to commit atrocities against other countries and states and yet stick to a separation of Church and State policy.

Even if what you said has an inkling of truth, there are educated Muslims today who are working hard to give benefits to less fortunate fellow Muslims.

And are you also trying to connect poverty with sinfulness? I don't think that Muslims who are too poor to go to school are disobeying their religion.

Please cite the source of your claim that the Muslim world averages a third grade education. I am unaware of this statistic.

I'm a Muslim, I only bow 4 Allah.
My country is governed by a king still I saw no1 bowing to him, actually the king himself bow to Allah just as I do.
About the education part, I'm abut 2 graduate from college, my sis studies law, and my bro is preparing to go 2 university.

Muslims R educated ppl, maybe not all of them but there is a big # who is.

I am a Christian, and I beleave that not all Muslims are defiled or uncleaned. They are just like you, and I. We have our bads, and goods in the Christian community. Have you ever read the book of Acts all of chapture 10. Captain Cornelius was a Jew. He was a faithful Jew that prayed to God, and helped many others. He had a Vision of an angel, and the angel told him to seek Simon Peter, and Caption Cornlius accepted Gods wishes to seek for Peter. Peter had a dream of many animals in the sky. God told
Peter to kill one of the animals, but Peter said no, because he believed they were unclean. God told him do not see any thing that God has declared as clean. Then Caption Cornelius sent three men to meet Peter, and Peter welcomed Caption Cornelius troops, and they told him about Caption Cornelius's visions, but then he relizes that God listens to every ones prayers no matter who they are, or what they believe in. As long as they do it out of love, compassion, and fear God. Peter says in Acts 10:34-35 34.Peter began to speak: I now relize that it is true that God treats all men on the same basis.35. Whoever fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him, no matter what race is acceptable to him. You may say "Muslims are now killing innocent people in God's name. Why would God for give them, or listen to them?" I would say the Jews killed God's son in God's name, and God still listened to Jews prayers like when Caption Cornelius prayered even though he was a Jew. So you can say God Judges every one as an individual not as a group. That's what I believe I could be wrong. If I am please correct me.

--- also as far as most uneducated people come, it is because no G1countries are ready to help. now people have spoken so much about Africa and Hurriicane Katrina -- but i think the world knows their results. educate urself on this topic and ask urself a question -- why isnt Africa even a developing country if people say they give them all sort of help they need?.

I am not muslim but almost mean the same according to my moslem friend as you call them muslim but believe in one creator of life and Jesus was a prophet not God and the Jews don't believe in him at all some of them anyway
