How does it happen? Well..........someone needs to give you some sex education it seems.
Yes I loved having kids. But, it was the toughest thing I have ever done raising them.
Having kids is a huge responsibability. Takes its toll, has it's rewards has it's sorrows.
The best thing about having kids is that they grow up and gave me grandkids!

My husband and I were married 12 years (!) before we tried to have a baby. We had endless discussions about responsibility, even arguing about percentages of time each of us would spend in child care -- and on and on. Finally, we agreed to try, and after one unexpected miscarriage, had a daughter (who is now 18). It's only in retrospect (and after again trying unsuccessfully, several years later, to have a second child), that I realized we had almost completely "missed the (fertility) boat". (The actual pregnancy with our daughter was as close to perfect as possible: I was never ill; actually LOST weight while pregnant to no detriment to our 9-pound baby; my husband was at every obstetrician's visit and was the first one to hold her at her birth.)
When our daughter was born, my fears about taking on the responsibility completely evaporated. My husband and I assumed very traditional roles -- he as dependable fulltime breadwinner, me as mom first, only working parttime and freelance arranged around our daughter's needs. We very fortunately have been able to manage on one income.
I sometimes wish our daughter had at least one sibling (both my husband and I come from large families), but we started late; adoption and in vitro fertilization or other medical interventions were never options. That said, we have a very levelheaded, well-adjusted, loving "only" child who has a wide and varied network of friends, male and female, in place of brothers and sisters.

Have kids they're much more than cute little people. They don't know prejudice or hate they are full of love.It is a shame to know how some kids are being treated by their parents and other adults. so don't have any if you are not going to be committed to being a good parent
