A few years ago I got a plantars wart on the bottom of my foot. The doctor kept telling me to wait for it to go away. By the time a couple years went by, it turned into a whole cluster of warts in the same spot. I tried getting rid of it with duofilm and compund w which didn't work even after a couple months of using them and filing down the wart. I went to the dermatologist and had it frozen with liquid nitrogen 5 times (once every 3 weeks), and I've also been using a perscription of 60% salyicic acid cream on it every night, with no luck. The dermatoligist has tried cutting it off with blades, and I've tried picking at it, and still hasnt worked. Now its spreading, and its beginning to hurt to walk. Whats there left to try????

The only way to get rid of it is by surgery. And I can tell you from experience that it is extremely painful when the doctor inserts a needle into the bottom of your foot to freeze it! I was nearly on my way to the ceiling!
The wart will be removed surgically and if there are others in a cluster, its imperative that they be removed at the same time, otherwise they will start to grow an you will have to start all over again. The needle really hurts like hell but its worth it to know that you will be cured.

Good call Vince P! :)

My father was seen at the Veteran's Administration Hospital for a persistent plantar's wart. His plantar's wart is history now, and I'm using the same regimen on mine. It took my dad about 8 months of diligent attention to get rid of his. I'm in the 4th week.

The treatment the doctor ordered:
1) Using a sharp exacto-knife carefully cut away the top layer of the wart. DO NOT CUT SUB SURFACE WART.
2) Clean the area with rubbing alcohol. Let dry.
3) Cut a small piece of Waterproof First Aid Tape slightly larger than the wart area. Cover the wart with the tape. Do NOT remove the tape (keep it covered) until the next treatment.
4) After a week (or so), repeat steps 1 to 3, until the wart is gone.

Discussion:
The reason to keep the wart covered with Waterproof First Aid Tape (Duct Tape) is to smother the wart and promote healing from the inside out. The wart will eventually be safely removed.

When I was a young girl I was walking along the avenue with my mother and I got the most painful shooting pain up the ball of my foot. I can still remember the pain. It felt as if someone was stabbing the ball of my foot with a sharp knife. I fell to the ground screaming. We were shopping on the avenue and there was a Podiatrist above one of the buildings. My mother immediately brought me upstairs to the doctors office. I remember him examining my foot and then he rubbed a Betadyne solution, put a local anesthetic on my foot and proceeded to remove the wart. I felt something pull out as he did it. He told my mother it was indeed a "Plantar Wart". They are viral and have a root attached. It never returned, but I was in extreme pain for a few weeks. You need to make an appointment with a Podiatrist/Surgeon and have it removed or it will continue to grow and cause extreme pain.

Call me crazy, but a way I've found to work is duct-tape. Try a google search on using Duct Tape on warts. I've heard that the adhesive creates a skin iritation that destroys the wart.

Like anything, it takes time and patience to achieve your goal. Stick with it and hopefully you'll get rid of those stubborn buggers.

Good luck man. I've had the same damn warts on my feet for 4 years now... I'm currently using the duct-tape method also. It seems to be working slightly.

Moles, warts, and skin labels are normal skin lesions that develop naturally. While they are typically low dangerous, they could be uncomfortable if found on an obvious portion such as the face. Epidermis wounds like moles and warts cause self confidence issues to the sufferers. A person with moles normally becomes a loner since they don't really wish to be observed in public. They think ashamed to be out in public places, therefore despair will obviously follow but you will change all this with this particular guide from here https://tr.im/TQrhG , Moles, Warts and Skin Tags Removal eBook.
The writer of this eBook, Charles Davidson, is just a practitioner in alternative medicine.  He is also a professional in skin care, applying normal remedies to remedy various kinds of skin conditions.

Warts can be tough. I know, as a podiatrist, I can use something called a CO2 laser at a surgery center which is often successful.

It might not be a wort. My husband has them on his feet and it's from how he walks. Certain shoes will cause calluses on your toes and bottom the feet. I would go to a foot doc if it's really bugging you because that is probably what it is.
