It's supposed to be a cutesy way to vow whatever you're pinky swearing to. Two people lock pinky fingers, the littlest ones on the hands, and say, "I pinky swear...." I doubt if it is upheld in courts....

It's a kinda kiddy thing to do.

My 6 yr old grandson thinks that is the most solemn of all promises. If he pinkyswears it is like god has spoken and it is the ultimate promise he could give anyone. Where or how he learned this I do not have the slightest idea., but it is a serious thing to him.

A upinky swear is when two people link their pinky fingers together making a promise at the same time.

when i was young whe two friends had a secret they did not want anyone else to know they would join each others pinkeys and swear to take the secret to their grave
