It is possible, but highly unlikely. The vaccination will provide your body with immunity, but if you become immune compromised you may still get the mumps. More likely is that you may get a light infection and not full blown mumps after you have been vaccinated.

Mumps vaccinations are very effective ( about 95%) from first vaccine and the second vaccinations usually takes care of the remaining 5%
