I'm curious. If a person ate mentos and washed them down with coke, would their stomach explode or do our digestive acids work quick enough to prevent that from happening? This is probably really dumb, but it made me wonder.

well, I dont' know exactlly. But the first restaruant I worked in we could have free soda all day. I would have 4 or 5 a day and started getting wicked stomach aches. I stopped the soda and they went away. The coke eats your stomach lining., and it also dissolves rust. I can only imagine what it will do to the mentos

I eally don't know, but you figure with all the people in the world who drink coke and eat mentos, you have to figure people have had them together before, and if there stomachs exploded, it probally would have made the news, or the packages would come with warning labels or something crazy like that.

Not sure what would happen, but if you bite a wintergreen lifesaver in a dark room, it will have green sparks.. Personally, I like to mix the coke with Canadian Mist, you don't blow up, you just feel as if you had later.....

No! People take alcaseltzer every day and pop rocks candy with soda and they dont explode.....but I dont know why we dont.....hmmmmmm strange but funny
