all TV is going to be HDTV in very near future.

There is work going on in even higher definition, but it is doublful this will ever reach the consumer level. I agree that sometime in the future all TV will be HDTV (just as all TV is color now); however, that's not going to happen in 2009; broadcast is required to switch to digital transmission in 2009, but that does not automatically mean high definition. i think it will take a few more years for the independent networks to provide 100% HD. You know that HD is becoming the standard when Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune are in HD (which they are starting this season).

I know HDTV is going to replace regular analog TV in 2009.

They will be 3-D holograms projected from a tiny cell phone sized projector and can be viewed from any angle. Images can be projected up to real life size.
