What are the corresponding emotions, adjectives, creatures etc. that go with each of the quarters:
East - Air - Silts
South - Fire - Salamanders
West - Water - Undines
North - Earth - Dryads
I think those are right but have trouble remembering them and all the details of each. All suggestions/list greatly appreciated!

My tradition's way of calling quarters is like no other I have ever seen. Everyone that sees me call quarters tells me I am doing it wrong, but I don't think there's a WRONG way to do it. If it feels right in your heart, then it is right. I wouldn't worry about what animal goes with what corner. Look at it using your own perspective, and see what feels right to you. It's about using your intuition. Blessed be.

The correspondences differ from path to path and not all associate a creature with the Quarters. In the majority of paths, the colors are: East - Yellow
South - Red
West- Blue
North - Green

It depends on the tradition. Some traditions have 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, or more elements. My path has three "elements".
By "Silts", I think you are talking about sylphs?
Some people associate the tools of pentacle with earth, chalice with water, sword (or dagger) with air, and wand with fire. Others switch the dagger to fire and the wand with air. It really depends on what tradition and magical system you practice.

Does it really matter? It's going to change iwth the next book that makes the best seller list. The reason you have three in each row, is because some yahoo wanted to make more money off of you.
