I used a lipstick which i was allergic to and my lips now has dark patches. I have stopped using this brand and the allergy and etching has stopped. But it seems the dark patches are here to stay. How can I get it removed? Please help me out! :(

Are your lips cracking and peeling as well? That is what happened to me, in addition to the dark patches. I thought it was lipstick but in my case, it was a food allergy.

I tried everything: Vaseline, cocoa butter, shea butter, etc. The only thing that worked was pure Vitamin E from the capsule. (NOT the vitamin E oil in a bottle. That did not help at all.)

Resolve the allergy first, by rebuilding you immune response, by replacing missing complex carbohydrates, without resorting to chemicals and drugs etc etc etc.

Unless you use a 'natural' lipstick, it is highly likely that you have an over-active immune response - probably triggered by chemicals in your lipstick. You really need to be addressing that immune response before things get worse.

First things you can do to help yourself;-
Avoid Aspartame and Caffeine like the plague, and drink at least 2 liters of bottled still mineral water every day (anyone who suggests that bottled water is just a hype, has no idea what they are talking about).

Good luck!

Use a medicated lip balm or one with aloe until it clears up.
