is it possible for a guy to know who there going to marry..... AT THE AGE 14! bc my friend who i really like has a gf and he sas hes going to marry her and hes going to be with her for ever! and he doesnt know his gf she lives three states away and has never or ever will see her in person... is it possible for him to know who he is going to marry at this age???/

i went to a wedding for two sixth graders once!!!!!!!!! it was a fake one of course but we were all really bored so one dude asked another girl to marry him and they had a fake wedding...... then the yelled at each other for evr then they divorced....that night was soo much fun.....

I have known people who married their childhood sweetheart, but that's a totally different thing from planning to marry someone you've never even seen.
It's possible to get a totally wrong idea of someone on the internet - which I assume is where they've met. This boy is building up an image of this girl just from their conversations and some photos, which is far short of a full picture. For the rest, he has to rely on his imagination, and of course he's imagining what he would like to be true. That means he's building her up to be far better than she really is, so it's unlikey she'll live up to his expectations if and when they ever meet.

Well . . . it might be possible, but it's highly unlikely. At 14, you don't even know who YOU are, much less who you're going to be in two years, four years or twenty years. He is very much infatuated with this girl right now and probably thinks he's in love. It will pass soon -- he will meet someone a bit closer to home and things will drastically change over the next few years.
