yes,. it did for me. I'm from Brazil, he's from the USA. What is meant to be, will come true. When it is meant to be there is no distance, no barriers, no nothing. We went thru a LOT and we were brought together. When there is TRUE LOVE nothing will break it apart. Be careful, though. Listen to your heart and if you truly love this person, don't let distance break you guys apart. Good luck.

I've had a long distance relationship going for the last 8 years. It's all based on trust and loyalty. We have always been happy and honest with each other and distance does make the heart grow fonder. We he gets finished with his military career I will be waiting on him like he has done me.

Of course there's the possibility that it CAN, and it has for a few people, but I don't really like long distance relationships... more time and chances to cheat on each other.

One of my friends had a relationship with a US Marine. Now he's in civilian life and they're happily married.
But they did meet face to face at first, then they made an effort to get together for a holiday whenever he could get some shore leave, about two or three times a year. Without that, I don't think it would have lasted.

I think that they generally do not work out. It's hard to hold a relationship together when separated by distance. For a relationship to grow, you need to spend time together.

Yes, if both people want it to work and they really love or care for one another. My boyfriend and I have been with different people on and off for 7 years and haven't found what we were looking for. We have now been together (excuslively) for 13 months and have never been happier. (We live over 600 miles apart)

i know it can.I'm Irish and two years ago i met an American girl in Ireland she was on holidays for 2 weeks and during that we fell in love.we agreed to stay together and try 4 months later i visit her we spent everyday on the phone so it wasn't just about sex we got to know each other.she moved to Ireland with me we had a baby girl then moved back to the USA to be near her family.our birthdays are the same day and 3 years before we met we were both on holiday in Greece an ended up in the same picture without knowing each other.maybe it was just luck but i believe when god made us he matched us and when its meant to be its meant to be.love doesn't count distance and when i met her i knew i never wanted anybody else

for me babe it depends...that is if you both have the trust and you trust each other no matter what...long distance relationship is honestly hard coz you won't be able to see, talk in person, hug, and kiss each other...but as long as there's communication, nothing is impossible...some or most people may say that "it's fate", but the truth is, the fate that you're talking about is actually in both of you...its your choice and its your decision...its your call...remember---God gave us FREE WILL!!!!!
