Why on earth do you worry about stuff you can't control? I am nearly blind, but get by fine. But I don't worry about when I will probably loose my vision completely , and will also likely be unable to walk in a few years. Enjoy your life and live it for what it is worth, worry about the bad stuff when it happens. Blows my mind that people aren't eating spinach because a few people got sick, even though it is not all grown in the same place!! Is this a nutty country or what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please, people, don't sweat the small stuff, there are enough people already doing that.

I would not be able to handle it. The thought of never seeing my mother's face again, I can't imagine what that feeling would be like. The thought of never reading a book with my eyes again, never seeing the mountains, or the ocean. But even though I couldn't handle it, I would probably adjust to it over time, like anything else in life.

I would hope to be able to handle it, but I know it would be quite a challenge

If I had to choose, I would rather go blind than deaf. No music or laughter would be the thing that would dirve me to insanity.

You learn to live with your shortcomings. I can't fly but I don't miss that.
