Yes. The first people they will go after are the person's criminal associates (of which you may be one). Look at it from this perspective: if a horrible criminal gets killed, not only is he off the street, but you get to take the scumbag associate/killer off the street too. Two for the price of one.

YES, a criminal is a human and in the USA even though they are horrid and gross and a poor excuse for a human they still have rights and you would be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, by you killing him puts you as low as victim no matter what he did, its what you have done.

You would go to jail and do time in prison if and when you are convicted. Did you see any of Charles Bronson's 4 Death Wish movies? The law catches up to him eventually....

If you caught this person in the act of a crime and tried to attack you - this would become self-defense and maybe the murder charge goes away - not the weapons and other charges.

It happens all the time.
One more creep off the street and another murderer on death row.
The police are not usually happy with vigilante justice.

Don't try it. It could wind up that your family will have to spend a lot of money for flowers and the creep will have an even worse record.

Legally, it depends on the nature of the assault.
If it were deemed in self defense then no
However, if it were a random act, the federal statute states that the local and/or federal authorities should seek prosecution based on attack.
I know it sucks sometimes but justice is blind.
If you randomly sought vengence on someone whom robbed you for instance, then you would go to jail depending on your assault and state laws.

The police will investigate the killing and arrest the killer. You cannot murder someone, no matter how useless you may believe they are to society.

Yes, murder is murder.

Check the listings to see how many abused women have killed the horridly abusive husbands but are still on death row.

We are not judge, jury and executioner.

yes. mmm, was that really a question? if you look back in history, people are prosecuted even when they kill someone that the public knows has done horrific things.

Take the law into your own hands and suffer the consequences.
