There are some used car sales ad saying the owner just passed away, so they sell it for someone else.

How many of you will consider buying a car knowing the past owner was just dead ? Of course he did not die in it.

If it's in good working shape, then yes. It's still a working machine. Use it. The person selling it does not need to disclose that information ( that the previous owner passed away). If it really bothers you, but you really like the car, perform some kind of ceremony to make youself feel better, and buy it.

I bought my present car (a Mercedes) from the family of its deceased owner. When I went to view the car it was obvious from the condition of the car, and the owner's workshop, that he'd been a fanatical car enthusiast.

Anyway, I bought the car (replacing my previous MB) and have been running it for 2 years. It still runs like new and I look after it in the way in which I am sure the previous owner would approve. I grateful that he cared for it so well while he was alive.

So go ahead and buy!
