My brother was reccently yanked out of custotey by the state when my father attempted to... do some stuff. Now he's in custodety of grandmother and my mother's gone off the handle -- accusing him of lying, calling him things and ignoring him when she's not calling him things...

And my grandmother's not doing anything about it. Is there anything I can do????

It sounds very sad, and confusing. I was molested as a child by my mothers husband, my stepfather. Back then, when i was a child, things weren't like they are today. No one to talk to. I guess you will get it all back with your brother in due time. Good luck. I hope you two will be together soon. My stepfather got away with murder back in the 50's and 60's when I was a child. My mother caught him molesting me once. She left him for 2 weeks, he came back and molested me again, and again. I told her she never believed me. He told me if i told anyone he would shoot my horse. I couldn't take it anymore, i told my mom again, and he shot my horse. In these day's and times he'd do life for the things he put me through. I prayed for him to die, and sure enough he had a massive stroke in 1963

Be supportive to your brother, he probably needs the most help right now. Your Grandmother is probably trying to figure out what to do also. Let your Mother calm down till all the facts are in. Good luck.

Your mother is in denial. Try to be there for your brother. If you can afford it, get him into counselling. If you can't afford it, try searching for organizations that provide free counselling e.g. Crisis Centres normally have a list of free resources that people in your brother's situation can access. Good luck.

It sounds like this is something that your mother and brother need to sort out. You could tell her that the name calling is not necesary, that is not going to solve anything.

My best suggestion would be to talk to your school counselor and tell them what is going on. Be supportive of your brother and grandmother.

Best luck.
