The kid has Talent, if he keep his Discipline, Focus and Desire on the Game. Yes he will be.

But if he let the Hype take over his senses and think that he is invisible then he will end up a Journeyman.

"Curiousity Kills the Cat"

"Over Confidence kills the LION"

Lets wait and see.

Boxing is sometimes about fixing fights and conning the public every now and then there is a proper fight - but money corrupts and sport is full of corruption - this is a fact.

Amir Khan could not beat the Cuban Mario Kindelan in the Olympics but when there was a professional fight between them a while later then Amir Khan won. Poor old Mario Kindelan in his last fight never made any money in boxing as an amateur but as a professional .............?

DIVE DIVE DIVE happens every now and then.

Anyway how does anyone know how any boxer is fighting - however no doubt Amir Khan will be World Champion for a while as there is too much money men behind him now and when its time for Khan to go then he will meet a tougher fighter!

Don't know about next one, but his progression is really good. If it continues then he will definitely be in the running. One year from now if he has fought a top ten American and won then will say yes. Up to Team Khan to move him along at comfortable pace.

For Pog mo thoin: Khan didn't beat Kindelan in the Olympics cos his team didn't prepare him well enough. He trained for the rematch and got his strategy spot on - no fix just good tactics!

Its going to be hard for him as he at the moment he is considering moving to light Welterweight which means in order for him to be world champ he gonna have to beat the likes of, Hatton, Mayweather and Cotto just to name a few. I know Amir is young but these guys are not old and will be around for a long time yet, saying that Amir is immensely talented so could get his title one day.

Khan is a good fighter with good hand speed, and a big puncher as well. His only problem is being pushed towards this world champion too quickly, it doesnt matter if he is the youngest champion, he should go for it when ready and not before.

people always say he fights nobodies, but he has to get use to the pro game, and he still has to do the business (remember buster douglas and hasim rahman).

But if treat well and brought along at the right speed, i see him being a class fighter in the future, defintly world championship material.

i wish people would get off khans back for fighting poor oposition, ever fighter does this at the beginning of their career, just usually not as publicly. he's had 9 fights and has one them all pretty comprehensively, he also beat Laszlo Komjathi who has been in with some very good fighters including the current wba champ M'baye who fought him after Khan.

i personally think its to early to judge how far khan can go, he hasnt been hit enough to know what type of chin he has, and his oppostion there for him to learn from, expect him to step up to area, english and british titles within the next 6 fights then we will be able to judge him.

based on his natural talent he seems like he can go far, as he has speed power, lateral movement and a good boxing brain, unfortuanately this isnt always enough.

finally the guy who said kindelan took a dive is way off, please have some shred of evidence before banding such rubbish around.

Amir Khan is still on a learning curve. Patience is hard when you have his talent. World champion within 2 years is a distinct possibilty.

take a look at auldley harrison's career. he fought a bunch of losers then when he came up against a decent fighter he had a nice sit down on the canvas.
if you watch khan's fights on video, count the number of punches his "opponents" actually throw never mind the one or two that connect. a fight is supposed to be organised on the basis that both fighters are of similar abilities and will actualy be able to defend themselves. were any of his fights like that ?.

no way. a champ does not hide and go into fixed fights. In the olden days the boxers used to box..none of this tick tack toe rubbish. Its doing the kid damage. By the time he faces a real opponent, he will believe all the hype - that he is THE BEST...then someone real - a mexican, american pro, will knock him down..
