All religions are a serious threat to our world. When someone says they are religious, they should be laughed at and not taken seriously on anything. It should be nearly impossible for someone with a religion to get a decent job because his fellow man should think that he is crazy. I mean would anyone take me seriously if I said that the greek gods ran the world and that I would die for Zeus? Our world really needs this change before nuclear weapons are even more prolific than they are now.

The mom: Should we let doctors who still believe in bleeding people with leeches practice their work, or should we laugh at them and ridicule them? It's the same principle. Beliefs are the most dangerous things out there because they guide all your actions. The Bible and the Koran are not books of peace. Each tell you to kill people who don't believe what you believe.

Right on, I agree with you. But, sadly it's an argument that won't really matter. There are too many people out there that are starving for something to make them feel good. Instead of figuring out their own problems, and finding what it takes to be happy, they need to blame happiness and the lack of it on some unseen force.

That just leaves the rest of us to stand back and smile. Bush can lead us off to war and preach about what is right, Rectal Roberts can go on tv talking about how this country is going down the crapper. And in the end, we know the truth. I am sure a lot of Atheists would agree with me, it is like having a weight off your chest, knowing that you aren't tied to some lunatic story with no basis in reality. Life is what you make it.

I thought this was a forum for asking questions, not making rambling statements based on dubious opinions. While you are certainly entitled to your personal opinion, you have no right to ridicule any one else in expressing it. If you do not believe, then why are you wasting your time in the religion and sprituality section? Do you feel so small that the only way you can feel superior is by putting other people down? Small mind, little person- open it up and let it grow.

"All religions are a serious threat to our world"
Well, that's a pretty sweeping statement...apparently you claim to be familiar with ALL religions. Sorry, that's doubtful. It's more likely you know very little about ANY of them.

You also seem to believe you are somehow qualified to know what every man "should think"? Really? Where did you obtain these incredible insights, oh great Suami?

You are entitled to believe what you want, but your reasoning is so far-fetched that the only one who "should be laughed at" ... is you.

I disagree i think religions should be taken more serious if people who claim to be religious took the time to read the bible or the koran what ever their version of the bible is called the would see that it doesnt call for violence and i know several people who belive in greek roman and egyptain gods i dont think they are nuts but then they study their religion the people i think are crazy are those who claim to be one religion but dont study and act on it

I guess you think we should take you seriously. Somehow this world has continued to exist quite well with "religious people" working. Most of the founding fathers would have been considered religious. What if they would have been considered crazy and hadn't been allowed to create a free America? Then you and I wouldn't be on the computer sounding off on our opinions.

You will get what you wish for. We will all have to suffer and die at the hands of people just like you. You can read all about it in Revelation, the last book of the Bible!

Gee, you just laughed at the majority of the worlds population. Good luck with surviving an employment rate like that.

I'm praying for your soul. I Hope that before the day your standing in front of God, you grow up and realize that eternity is a long, long time. Whether you believe or not, doesn't change facts. One day your gonna bow your knee and confess that Jesus is Lord, just as every other non- believer and believer. I just hope it's not to late. The only imaginary god is one besides Jesus Christ, this includes those of you that think of yourselves as gods.

Don't worry, you'll get your wish. Christians will once again be sacrificed and be forced to die for their faith. It has been happening for years now in other countries but it's coming to the western world.
