To the majority writer, yes, the majority believe in a higher power. Yet most state that thier higher power is right. Therefor, most religions are in the minority compared to other religions. Therefor, most are going to hell. And, on your argument, it is called a fallacy-bandwagon. Just because the majority belive does not make it correct. During the age of slavery most whites believed salvery was okay. Does this make it right? No, majority is not always right. Oh, the world is not flat, like the majority believed. And yes, many wars have been fought over religion. Once again, let's lookat the crudsades. At the war against native americans where OUR forefathers wanted all, to convert to christianity. And I agree, its not the religion. It is the followers using their religious views as excuse. And, the attack on the world trade center had to do alot with religion. It was an atack on the values, the christain values, of the United States.

No. And no one actually is in war over Religion. The terrorist we are at war with, did not attack us because of Religion. They attacked us because a sick homicidal maniac hates the American way of life, our freedom. We, Americans, are not in a Religious war. We are in a war AGAINST terrorist, nothing to do with Religion. And further more, my dear friend, just because you choose not to believe in God, doesn't mean He don't exist. It only means you choose not to believe. There are BILLIONS of people across the world that believe in a spiritual leader. You weigh the BILLIONS of people that believe there is some kind of spiritual being that created us all, against the non-believers, my guess is the non-believers would be in the minority. So how could the billions be wrong, and the few be right?

No. Why? Belief is an emotional, non logical behavior. No one goes to war over beliefs but over conflict: Two peoples wanting the same thing.

For example, the Iraqi war was not about religion but about perceive threats. US not wanting Iraq to have weapons.

Even the 40 year war in Germany is not about religion but about independent for states.

What about England? A war about seceding.

Check you history and you will find war is conflict between two groups of people over some issue.

So your quote is not accurate. Ask your imaginary friend.

Yep, tis true. Lots of Christians think that going to war over religion is wrong though. Since they think this, they are clearly not Christians since the Bible says that it's ok to kill people of other religions if they don't convert.
