I love my pit bulls <3!!!
One was rescued from a shelter and the other was on her way to the shelter. I won't ever use a breeder to get a dog. There are too many unwanted animals as it is.

Personally I like sight hounds and ridgebacks. But I have had mixes.
I am wondering why people are against poodles. The toys and minis can be manic, but this is usually because the owners forget to treat them as dogs. It can also be from silly breeders who don't look at temperament They are highly intelligent and need to be kept in their place.
Labradoodles, which are used as seeing eye dogs here in Aus for those with allergy problems, are a standard poodle crossed with a lab. The standard has a different personality to the mini and toys.
I have had a three quarter poodle cross blue heeler (her father and grandfather were the same standard poodle). She had the high intelligence of both dogs, she only barked if there was a need to, and she didn't shed. She had a stroke at 16 years of age so i had to put her down then.
I now have a sight hound cross.

German Shepherds, as far as I'm concerned they are the most beautiful, noble, prestigious, intelligent, loyal, and trusting dog there is. They give me so much companionship that I don't miss my husband as much when he's out on the road. They have filled a void in my life that is just inexplicable. I've had 5 German Shepherds in my life and all of them were just like sons to me. I can't say too much about labradoodles or goldendoodles because I don't think breeds should be mixed like that. I've also never seen any. But I'm sure any dog mix like that can also be the apple of anyone's eye.

German shepherds are my favorite breed. With the proper socialization and training, they can be the most loyal, intelligent, loving pets anyone could ask for. They're "people dogs" who love to be around their owners, and I really like than in a dog. My sheps have been big mushpuppies with personality and heart to spare.
As far as Labradoodles and goldendoodles are concerned, I'm sure that many of them are sweet and lovable animals. I do have problems with the idea of people charging a fortune for "designer dogs" that are, after all, crossbreeds.
The Humane Society and shelters are full of terrific mixed breed dogs who need loving homes, and the idea of someone paying a ridiculous sum for a designer dog when they could save a wonderful shelter animal really bugs me.

I personally love the personality of a beagle!
I like Labradors (although they can be a bit hyper) and I love golen retrievers they are awesome dogs!!! But mixing them with a poodle, is a no-no in my opinion! I am not a huge poodle fan- my bro has 2 so I have spent some time with them and I just don't like them as much as my beagle or my great dane.
As far as appearance goes, my favorite breed is the Alaskan Malamute!!

Mixed breeds are typically my favorite, Labradoodles and Goldendoodles fall into that catagory as well.
Pure bred dogs that I love are Pitbulls, Rottweilers, Keeshonds, Boxers, American Bulldogs, Canis Panthers, and Native American Indian Dogs.
I love all dogs though.

Miniature Pinscher!!! I love mine to death!! They are so small and entertaining. They also have very outgoing personalities and are great with people and especially kids. I dont like the cropped ear look though. Thats why my min pin's ears are not cropped. I am not a fan of poodles really so anything that is part poodle is not on my favorites list. sorry!

Siberian Huskies are my favorite breed. They are beautiful and loyal and love children. They are large enough so that you will be well protected, and anyone with ill-intent will think twice before attempting to harm you. Despite their size and wolf-like appearance they are friendly and loveable, and excellent with children.
I don't know about Labradoodles or golden doodles, but cockapoos (cocker spaniels and poodles) are adorable.

German Shepherds are the best! They are smart, athletic, noble, and just a good all around dog! I have two males, both wonderful dogs! My boy - the older of the two - lays at my feet wherever I am in the house. I would be lost without him!
I do not have any experience with the 'doodle' mixes, but have heard many good things about them.
