Well pretty much yes, since they all believe they're worshipping the God of Abraham, but not everyone sees it that way.
(Hence, the reason why I have thumbs down only) But it is true, the lineage of all 3 religions is the same, they all trace back to Abraham.

Since there is only one God, the answer is yes. Christians, Jews and Muslims are really quite close in their beliefs and believe in one God or supreme being. Of course the beliefs that most people actually follow are quite a different thing. I have heard of "pro-choice" Catholics and that just can not be. Catholics are pro-life, always. Also "homosexual Catholics", again that can not be. But these things are in the Bible and were to come to pass.
As did the Roman Empire , so shall we, just decay away. But still there is only one God. Always and surely, one God. That being said that does not mean that we, as Christians, do not accept people, we do but we try to teach the right way. I had a friend from India and he told me that he could go to any church because all that is required is that the word of God be there.

God is 3 persons in a unmarried: Yahweh (Jehovah) the daddy Jesus Christ The Son The Holy Spirit at the same time as Judaism rejects Christ because the Savior Judaism does worship Yahweh the daddy so henceforth Christians and Jews both worship Yahweh. in spite of the indisputable fact that Islam's god is Allah. Allah isn't Yahweh in any respect, Allah is in reality a Moon god that changed into the best of diverse gods in a Pagan faith that existed earlier Islam did. Muhammed followed many innovations from this Pagan faith into Islam and he further Judeo-Christian aspects into Islam. yet I repeat Allah changed into head of many gods in a Pagan faith, Muhammed keen to eliminated all gods of that faith except for Allah and for the reason that then Islam claims Allah is an same as Yahweh (Jehovah) God. yet only because Islam says it does no longer make it real for in case you somewhat examine out historic previous you locate that Allah isn't Yahweh in any respect so accordingly Islam worships a pretend god.

Some say, "Yes."

Most Christians believe that a fallen angel in disguise gave the words for the Qu'ran to Mohammad. There are Muslem writings that say that Mohammad believed he was possessed and almost killed himself but was stopped by the being(s). I think Mohammad was correct.

Teh God of the Jews and Christians is the same God. Not all Jews have accepted Messiah Yahshua.

Sort of.

Jews believe in God.

That is who Christians would refer to as God the father.
But Christians believe God manifests himself in 3 ways, Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit - this is called the "Trinity".

Muslims believe in God (Allah is just Arabic for God).

However neither Jews nor Muslims believe in the Christian trinity, and unually accuse us of being polytheistic (worshipping many Gods).

I won't bother getting into the theological disagreement between Christians and Muslims, on whether or not Muslims are really worshiping God or not.

Basically there is only one God. If you believe in God. The tenet of any religion of any kind or description is that there is Good (God) & Evil (Devil). The name by which God is called varies from culture to culture. It matters not. The name still means God & that stands for good.
The Jews, Christian & Islamic Religions share a common root from the Egyptian Aten (One God) which came from the old Abramatic (One God) & that in turn came from an older the Noah based religion of Sabeans. (one God)
By the way the word, Amen or Ameen is derived from the old Egyptian God Amun. (the hidden God)

The God of the Jewish nation (which is Israel) has revealed Himself as HVHY (these are the Hebrew consonants that spell His name, they write their language from right to left. This is often translated as "Jehovah" or "Yahweh"). This is the same God that Jesus Christ referred to as His Father. He is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, He is also the God of the Christians. All of Jesus' power and authority which He exercised on earth was from His Father, HVHY. The Bible makes it very clear in many different passages, that there is no other true God but HVHY. There is no other God but Him.

You will notice, that in the islamic religion, no one ever manifested themself to a chosen people and revealed themself to be God (or a "god") in the flesh. No one ever performed miracles of healings in their religion. No blind people were ever caused to see, no lame people were made able to walk. They call their god, "allah."

They in no way even pretend that their god is the same God that has revealed Himself to the Jewish people. If you were to compare scriptures in the qu'ran (the islamic "holy" book) with scriptures in the Holy Bible (the scriptures of Christians and Jews) you will see that the description of "allah" and the description of the Lord God of Israel are two completely different personalities. You will also find that the qu'ran includes stories that were plagerized from the Bible and rewritten according to their specific desires (and that happened some 2000 years after the stories were originally recorded in the Jewish scriptures).

It is true also that islam and the qu'ran does not make any promise of eternal salvation. If an islamic person wants to go to their equivalent of "heaven," they have to please allah and earn his favor by balancing the "scales." That is to say, they have to have more good works at the end of their lives than bad ones. However, the concept of what a good work is, can be completely different than what we think one is. That's because our basic western culture and sense of morality in this country was originally established upon Christian standards and principles. Therefore we think that it is wrong to murder someone. But under the legalistic viewpoint of islam, it is very pleasing to allah to kill the "infidels" (those who do not embrace islam) under the banner of jihad. So if you have lived a lousy life and done many bad things, you can secure favour with allah and go to heaven by strapping on a bomb and blowing youself up and taking a bunch of Christians and Jews with you.

So on the one hand, you have the one true God who loves humanity enough to send His only Son to die in our place, thus paying for all our sins Himself so that we can miss hell and be in heaven with Him...and on the other hand you have a fake god that has no power to change a life for the better or to help anyone, but is used by evil men as a motivating factor to cause death and destruction among innocent people on a battleground of religious ideologies.

Hmmmm...do they sound anything alike to you now?

I think it is possible and we won't really know until we are told by God in heaven. What makes me think about this is the fact that Mohammad interpreted visions of childhood and nurtured them to action in young adulthood. Perhaps his interpretation was skewed. I cannot help but wonder at the similarities between Allah and God. We really only differ in the significant teachings of Christ. Also, Jacob's brother, Esau is the father of Muslim nations. That seems significant to me as Jacob is also known as Israel. I don't know, but I think it's worth understanding on both sides of the answer.

There is only ONE GOD of all human beings, whether Jews or Christians or Muslims or Buddhists or Hindus or others.

Allah is the Arabic word for God.

Those who believe in Him say YES, they are one and the same.

Those who don't make blasphemous claims that He is their exclusive God or that He begot a son or that He exists in millions of other gods (sic).

Read the Qur'an for a definition of God and decide for yourself.

May Allah guide you.

Yes, one and the same. There is only one God for all the people of the Book, be it Judaism, Christianity or Islam. I also believe all these religions are the same in essence, the differences comes in the practice of these religions by the people and their interpretations of their holy books.

Muslims have a completely different "god". However, though Christians believe that Christ Jesus is God, speaking in terms of "God", Christianity and Judaism have the same God; Christians have accepted His saving power; His grace, thus, they are forgiven of their sins. It is only by Jesus Christ's(who IS God) grace that we go to heaven as Christians. As a previous answerer said, the Jews worship God the Father. However, God the Son is also a part of the Trinity, and is necessary for salvation.

John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

God bless!
