since all human thought is subjective in nature, opinions are judgments and judgments are opinions. anyone who says otherwise is an uneducated fool. (that, BTW is both my opinion and my judgment.)
it is human nature to judge, make judgments and be judgmental. the drive-by media and Oprafied daily talk babble has turned the term into taboo. i do not buy into this kind of political correctness.
you will eventually read this answer, form and opinion and judgment.

Everyone has opinions, attitudes, and beliefs. All of them tend to remain fixed. It helps to understand where someone is coming from when it comes to a particular topic of discussion.
Opinions are the easiest to change, and simply require more information.
Attitudes are more difficult to change. You've heard of an attitude adjustment, haven't you?
Beliefs are very difficult to change, and doing so is akin to removing an eye, an appendage, or even ones life. Beliefs are an integral part of your persona, and not subject to reasoning. It often takes a life-changing event to change beliefs. Some people have opinions about politics and beliefs about religion. Some people have beliefs about politics and opinions about religion.
Judgment, on the other hand, depends upon how you use the word. "A judgment" indicates that an action, often punitive, has been taken against an individual. However, you can use your "good judgment" to reach an opinion or a conclusion.
Being "judgmental" is often construed as passing a sentence on someone, but can be the result of simply forming an opinion. What is important is the passion and intensity of feeling associated with the decisions you form.

An opinion is a personal belief or standard pertaining to something. A judgement comes from a place of power. As a teacher I give my students can give their opinion about X, but in giving a grade I exert my place of power and judge their work as worthy or not. In the case of peer or lay opinion, they may think that they are exerting judgement, but unless they have some control over the 'judged' it's not technically a judgement.

Opinion
Is a person's ideas and thoughts
towards something.
Judgement
While one isolated incidence of judging is easily forgotten, when it happens repetitively, as is very often the case, it can have a huge impact. People tend to respond to how they are repetitively judged, due to emotional distress, becoming more like what people wrongfully accuse them of.
Truth
Common dictionary definitions of truth mention some form of accord with fact or reality.
(Just to go one further since a lot of people like to know what the difference is with the Truth included.)

Opinions are our thoughts about things-politics, the weather, who will win the super bowl.
Judgments are what we think about people and what makes them who they are-looks, money, religion, level of education.
I can have an opinion about what school someone went to but if I am critical about the fact that they did or did not graduate high school I am now being judgmental.

People always say not to judge others, but the truth is we all judge people and make snap judgements when we first see someone, that is human nature!
