strange my daughter has 3 birds, all parrots.. one was given 2 her free.. and it didn't like me at all.. its a Quaker.. the other Quaker did like me.. a new dog came in an some how the Quaker that disliked me, ended up with a broken leg and had 2 stay in a aquarium for 6 weeks till leg healed.. and i felt soo sorry 4 the bird and spent time everyday talking 2 her and rubbing the aquarium, that she did get use to me.. and the other Quaker turned on me.. hmm. but it stands 2 reason, having the wing feathers clipped and standing above the birds, makes them a more gentle bird..

Well if MY bird doesnt like YOU then I would tell YOU to stay away from MY bird who doesnt like you, otherwise you may end up getting bitten and seeing blood.
Now if YOUR bird doesnt like YOU then feed and water it, keep its cage clean and make it feel happy in the cage you provide for it by not trying to handle it. Then you can watch it be happy knowing YOU wont be trying to handle it. Thus making IT very happy!
PLEASE PEOPLE IT ISNT BECAUSE YOUR BIRDS DONT LIKE "YOU" ITS THAT THEY DONT LIKE TO BE HANDLED! JUST LIKE YOU DONT WANT SOME STRANGE ALIEN COMING IN AND HANDLING YOU, THEY ARE WILD ANIMALS WHO HAVE A RIGHT TO HAVE THEIR OWN SPACE, ITS NOTHING PERSONAL ON THEIR PART, BUT THEY ARE WILD ANIMALS AND DONT KNOW WHAT THE HECK YOU ARE. LOOK AT US THREW THEIR EYES FOR GOODNESS SAKES,,,,, I'D BE WILD TOO LOL!

My parakeets don't like me...:( Try to spend more time around their cage and move their cage to different places. Then everyday at night hug the cage and ignore the noise the birds make if they DO make a lot of noise.

It depends on the type of bird, of course. With most, they will learn to like you in time if you are patient and talk to them in a soothing voice. Do not try to handle them until they are used to you being around.

i have 4 love birs out of all four 1 hates me she always yelling at me and screaming idk wat to do but its ok cuz she wants to annoy me but its cool now i talk to her and she is a little bit better i read that its hard 4 a bird to trust u especially when they had a previous owner and i bought her second hand so she is probably use to other ppl and a different lyfestyle idk its cool take ur time feed her well and take good care of her whse wil;l eventually get to know u
