You can uninstall programs not related to the operating system and reinstall them again, but designate the E drive as the drive you want the program in. By default the computer will automatically pick the Program File on the C drive as the resident of any program you install. At that point manually choose the E drive for the installation. Now when you do that remember that certain root files of those installations will still be on the C drive but the majority of the program will be on the E drive. In this way you can create a lot of open space on your C drive. I am assuming that you have defragged your C drive because that is very important. Also look to see which programs are no longer used, and uninstall them. That should free up more space. You might be ready for a big upgrade to a better computer. Gateway now produces the E machines, and they are a pretty good bang for the buck and are no longer throw away machines.

No, you can't move space from drive E to C, but you can clean up your C drive. You can move your documents, excel files, pictures, etc to drive E if you'd like. Start--> Search-->All Files and Folders--> *.doc, *.xls (this will find your documents and excel files). After the computer finds it - select move to: E. Also remove any temp folders, clear internet cookies. Delete any contents from the Recycle Bin.

Is drive E: a HD on its own, or a partition on C: if its a drive copy as many files as you want from C: to E:, if it is a partition use Norton Partition Magic to assign more space to C: and less to E:.
