Wny do you hate gays, who have never hurt you and just want to live their lives, yet seem to hardly care at all about much more important thingd, like murder, robbery, rape, and war. Why can't you leave those poor people alone and commit your energies to trying to end some of the worlds bigger problems?

I apologize if I offend, but I have met Christians who hate gays and use their religion to justify it.

Button: And there your true colors show, you deny everything that threatens your beliefs and use childish insults to try to dismiss it. It is pretty apparent that you have no idea what Buddhism is about.

Well, Jesus showed me He loved all people when He came. Also, in a question I just answered, Jesus did not give me the authority to judge others. Heck, I just trying to get through this mess like everyone else. I do believe Jesus will get me through, but, I was/am/is a sinner. I no Judge, Ha!!! Then I would be Judged by the same measure I Judge with! That what Jesus said.

hi again :)
I am a Christian, and I don't hate gays. Some of my good friends through the years have been gay. I think anyone, Christian or not, are misguided in the idea that they should hate gays. Ppl should not be despised based on their sexual orientation. Christianity says that we should embrace all ppl and love them completely. Now, it's a journey to get to that point-- and there's lots of fear and hate that ppl have to overcome. Ppl hate things that are different to them because they fear difference. That's the basic struggle of all religions and psychology-- we hate difference because we fear it. Difference doesn't validate our experience-- and if we're not valid, are we right? Because we don't like to think, then it's easier to call that fear hate, instead of investigating our differences and trying to find the common ground and make peace.

This isn't a fair question, it is a generalization to validate your anger.
I'm have nothing against gays. I think murder and rape are both horrible. I'm not trying to screw up anybody else's life, just live my own. Maybe you should try doing the same.
By the way, I refuse to call my self Christian because Christians li, cheat, and are just generally hypocritical when it comes to following their own doctrine.

If I may say, true Christians aren't against gays, they are just for the Bible and the Bible states clearly that this type of lifestyle is wrong. Christians should love all people, even their worst enemies, but we should hate those things which are not of God; not people. Thanks for the great question. Peace out and keep safe.

Because they need someone to hate, to keep the flock together. Religions always need a mob at the gate. An enemy that lurks in the shadows ready to snatch away their children. It doesn't matter that none of it's true. It doesn't matter who they hurt. The ends justify the means. If you have to kill a few gays to keep Christians together, then in their view it's okay.

Being gay is unnatural.
I dont hate you, I feel sorry for you.
I wish you no harm. The way the world is today is sad. Particularly for you. But I dont think you should have special rights just because of who you sleep with. A child should not be subjected to your life style choices. I dont see women or men into beastiality trying to have the right to get married and raise children with their donkey or dog or horse. Marriage is sanctioned under god between a man and a woman. It simple. But what you do in your own bed is your business. Jesus taught love and not hate. So dont hate me because I am a christian and NOT gay. I have rights too.

Our scriptures teach that homosexual behavior is a sin. Like other sins it keeps one from having a close relationship with the Creator of the Universe. The other issues you mention are illegal and already addressed by law and custom.
Homosexuality is one wrong behavior that is becoming more acceptable. It does no good to pretend that which is wrong is right when in the end we will have to give an account to an all-knowing God.

True Christians shouldn't hate anyone. The problem is "gay" people don't wish to hear that they are wrong and if they don't change their ways they will go to hell. The Bible says it. But they want an excuse to keep on doing what they are doing. So they just blame Christians for "hating" them, so that they can feel better about themselves.
