One of the strange aspects of life I finally came to accept is how unpredictable life is. You never expect people so close to you, or so young would suddenly die from illness, car accident, heart attack, etc. But that is how life is and I came to accept it now.
But one thing that I have constantly been wondering is this. How does God decide which person is to die any given day? I see a lot of good, innocent people dying every day on TV or newspaper and it doesn't make sense to me at all. They were doing good things and they didn't deserve that.
On the contrary, I see evil, wicked, mean people living prosperous, rich life, just enjoying life. It disgusts me to witness such injustices.
Back to the main Q, how does God decide which person is to die any given day? Why would He sometimes end young people's lives which were barely blossoming? Thanks in advance for any insights.

Because they have finished what He wanted them to do...He loves them and wants them back...To help others get closer to Him...there's a myriad of reasons, but He knows why.

There is a reason for everything and everything is done for His glory. If you see wicked people living it up, why does that bother you? Their treasure is of and in the world and is only for a blink of time and then eternal torment in hell. A believer's treasure will be rewarded to them in heaven and is eternal life with God. Our reward is with God and He see and knows exactly what you're talking about.

Planned for God's pleasure

The Lord takes pleasure in his people. Psalm 149:4a(TEV)

God did not need to create you, but he choose to create you for his own enjoyment. You exist for his benefit, his Glory, his purpose, and his delight.
Bringing enjoyment to God, living for his pleasure, is the first purpose of your life. When you fully understand this truth, you will never again have a problem with feeling insignificant. It proves your worth. If you are that important to God, and he considers you valuable enough to keep with him for eternity, what greater significance could you have? You are a child of God, and you bring pleasure to God like nothing else he has ever created.

We never see the wide angle view that God see, his complete plan, and reasons why God does what he does. If God takes a life, perhaps cause it would change something down the line for a purpose that needs to be done for his plan. We would never know all the details. I do know if your doing his will, and or God has a purpose, plan for you, God would protect you, until your work is done.

Thats a very good question..But who are we to question God? It says in the word of God that sometimes we dont understand why God does the things he does.Look i just lost a person that i know. He was only 23, he was playing soccer and boom he fainted. He died..No one knows what happen. But you know what if we believe in God, we should just leave to him. Because we will never understand the way God work. Be bless Brother

Peoples time on earth was determined before they were born.
Even aborted babies, small children and every one else.
A person's birth, life & death are all for a reason which is to mean something for others and God. Even in your death, someone will receive a personal spiritual lesson to learn from it.
Nothing is totally bad to everyone.
Evil people will eventually face the consequences, yet good does come from their actions also.

God does'nt decide. When Adam and Eve went against His wishes,God decided to let us live our lives without his intervention and see for ourselves that we'd make one big mess of things. I don't claim to have all the answers and yes,I've watched loved ones die and ask why? But everything has a reason and we'll find out why,one day

David wrote in Psalms, 'help me to know the number of my days.' or something close to that.
God knows how many days each of us will live, even though we do not.
I always thought a better way to put your question is "Why is a person born on one day rather than another.
I guess "Father knows best" is then an act of faith.
