I do not think this is a religious question. This is a practical question - unless you prayed for forgiveness from the person from whom you stole the bike!
Acceptance of whatever is given/not given by 'God' is true devotion.

Understandably you have the rational of a true believer. If you sin, just ask forgiveness for the error it's forgiven and then you are pure. That is a user of the law not a believer in the faith. Shame.

Did you NEED the bike? Or did God give you someting else and you just were HELL bent on getting a bike? God answers the prayers of the rightous and He gives them what they NEED.
