Over the past 30 days, when you have had a truly meaningful day, what did you DO that made it meaningful?

People often talk of "meaning" from the standpoint of feeling. But what activities or interactions have been most meaningful for you over the past month? Please give as much detail as possible.

in the past 30 days my mother has taken a stroke and was told she possibly wouldnt walk again ... in the past few weeks she is walking and amazing the doctors
although she is still a little unsteady
i have been spending time at her home trying to make her house safer for her to be more independant
she is just a wonderful woman who will let nothing get in her way
my mother made my days meaningful and i am sure the things i have done for her has been meaningful for her
but what i have done is nothing in comparison to the strength and determination she has shown

I wished I could answer this question. I am out of fellowship with the Lord and church. I remember days when I was right with the Lord that I would have days that was so meaningful. Meaningful as in we had a Nursing Home ministry. Meaningful as in we would witness for the Lord and souls would be saved for his glory. I have good days but nothing that would be meaningful.

Most meaningful actions:

Gave $5 to a poor person
Helped a turtle cross the road
Comforted my friend when her dog died
Helped my Grandma fix her clock

Any compassionate action is meaningful...

I took my daughter to California and she taught me to body surf. The idea of my 15 year old teaching me something (instead of the other way around) made me hopeful. New minds and new visions are everywhere. Life can be full of wonderful surprises if we listen it.
