get a lcd no bigger than a 26" flat screen it is awsome i have one in my bedroom a jvc nice

I would not spend the money for a plasma in the bedroom. A LCD flat screen will do almost the same for you. The cost would be half as well. Plus an LCD will last longer as well.

I'm a veteran TV repair tech and, after weighing the pros and cons, went with a 26" LCD (Sony Bravia) for the bedroom. I would only consider a plasma if I were going to go larger than 42".

I hear plasma is being phased out. Emphasis is being placed on LCD. One reason is plasma loses it's vibrancy in color in time. Check on this before you buy. Go with LCD
