that is a theory, but never has been proved. The reason for this is because some of the Eastern greats have the same philosophy and I can see this plainly.
Isn't it wonderful to know that Jesus certainly knew the mind of God and was able to discern the truth for us all, and to have many more wonderful enlightened beings be wittiness of it too.

What any human "thinks" is irrevellent.
What we know of Jesus is written in the Bible.
The Bible makes no mention of Jesus traveling to the Far East, or the Middle East to "study" other religions.
As the all-knowing God, Jesus does not have to study anything.
He already knows it.

No, I do not think so and I agree with several of the other answerers.
All religions are man made things. Jesus did not come to start a religion. He came to earth to become the Way for mankind to be in a right relationship with our heavenly Father.
I recently finished reading Ravi Zacharias' book Walking from East to West. I am currently reading his book Jesus Among Other gods. I highly recommend them you you.

The bible is silent on the whereabouts of Christ between the ages of 12 and 30......so I can only interject a personal opinion here: I don't think so. After all...Jesus was God in the flesh....He wrote all of scripture and created the heavens and the earth....no need for Him to study in the far east.

According to the Bible, no. The scriptures account for his whereabouts from birth to death.
Born in Bethlehem around 4BC
Fleed to Eygpt at age 2
Remained in Egypt until around age 5 when Herod died
Returned to Nazareth
Remained in Nazareth to age 12 when he visited Jerusalem
According to Luke 2, returned to Nazareth at 12 and remained with mother until began ministry at age 30
Travelled in Israel from age 30 to death at 33
Resurrected and returned to heaven 40 days later
So all four of accounts of Jesus life leave no room for years in the east learning other religions.
Plus Jesus was a practicing Jew. He would have no use or desire for polytheist religions.

I don't think he studied anything, he may have traveled east but it would have been to teach. He taught the elders when they tried to teach him in his own country, why would you think a child born of god by divine intervention would need to be taught anything. He was a teacher not a student.

I don't know. Nobody does. The only thing we have about Jesus is stuff written decades after he died, if he existed at all.

He didn't have to since he is the author of the bible. The bible is his biography, it talks about his live and times and future, about his plans and love.

Yes... I don't see the point of denying that he learned his wisdom. After all... he told people they could be like him, it's in the Bible.
