the guy i like has sores inside of his mouth, theyre red and blistery and all over his cheeks and stuff. they scab over and turn black.

what are these things inside of his mouth?

can i catch it from him through kissing, sharing cigarettes, or smoking weed with him?

OHH and he thinks he gets them from citric acid..

He really really needs to see a doctor. This could be herpes or gonorrhea of the mouth and throat (is is a real disease!). Most of the sores you get from citric acid look like canker sores. They are white in the center and don't scab over. Please encourage him to see a doctor, and yes you can catch them if they are something more serious than canker sores.

Niki : those are called trench mouth very rare some times caused by kissing& smoking cigaretts acid from nicateen will do
it so I suggest to you to not share any thing stay away be caution about contagious germs and him

I don't know if you can catch them or not not knowing exactly what they are, but I wouldn't take a chance if I were you. That sounds more than a cankor sore. He needs to get it checked out.

Yes, he does get them partly from citric acid, A.K.A. Orange Juice...

though I haven't seen any with black all over them.

Those are what we might call "Canker sores"

He should see a doctor in case it's much worse than cankor sores.
And don't smoke weed.

I wouldn't date him anymore! That's a severe herpes infection and if it's continued to be like that then he probably has other SERIOUS problems.
