I don't usually do this for other people but dreaming of water is to do with your emotions. Depending on the state of the water; dirty, clean, choppy, smooth etc. means different things. For example having a shower is trying to wash away specific feelings that make you feel dirty or unclean in some way.
Swimming in a pool is a containment of certain emotions or how you see a group of emotions together. These can vary so much in regards to how you were feeling in your dream happy or sad or swimming under or with your head above the water. Wild animals represent enemies or an uncontrollable force of some sort and domestic the opposite. You may be experiencing some personal growth of some sort and your intuition may be accurate at this time. Dreams are so personal and you need to think of all aspects of your life at this time to give an interpretation, whatever you feel is right usually is. Well, catfish pretty much do nothing else but swim, so at least THEY have a valid reason for being there. But you? You must be an outstanding swimmer to keep up with them!
Perhaps this is an indication you need to be more socially active. Hanging out with catfish is not my idea of a fun night out with my friends - but then again, just be glad you weren't swimming with Parana fish instead!

fish = freedom
swimming pool = restricted place, limited control
Swimming with the fish could mean you want to seek freedom and control in your life. Perhaps something happened in reality that you are not getting the freedom or control you want to. Projecting a swimming pool and fish suggests that subconsciously you want to break through things you can't do in reality
